Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Desinfektionsmittels. Formaldehydlösung besitzt vorzügliche desinfizierende Eigenschaften. Ihrer Anwendung als keimtötendes Mittel auf Schleimbäute bei der Mund-, Rachen- und Scheidenbehandlung steht aber ihre außerordentliche Gerb- und Reizwirkung hinderlich entgegen. Eine Ab- schwächung dieser nachteiligen Wirkungen des Formaldehyds könnte durch Zusatz von Gelatine erreicht werden. Bringt man aber Formaldehyd mit Gelatine zusammen, so erhält man eine unlösliche Verbindung, die zur Herstellung keimtötender Lösungen nicht geeignet ist.Process for the production of a disinfectant. Lieses ist aber bei den Mengenverhältnissen der Fall, in welchen sich die durch Zusatz eines Rhodansalzes in Lösung gebrachte Formaldehyd-Gelatineverbindung herstellen läßt.
