Abstract

Several control valves (S1,S2), supplied from a common pressure source (7), are connected in parallel via pump and tank pipes (9,10) to respective consumer units (V). They are preceded by a flow controller (R), and each has a control branch pipe (34) between tappings (26,27) on the pipes (15,16) to the consumer unit, and a 2/2-way selector valve (Z1,Z2) preceding it, pilot-controlled from the pump pipe. A main control pipe (12) for the flow controller is connected by non-return valves (35) to the control branch pipes. A pressure relief pipe (36,37) connects the selector valves to the tank and is connected to the control branch pipes, containing a monitoring valve (39-41) for excess pressure in the consumer units. If a consumer unit is monitored in only one working direction, the control branch pipe is connected by a presence relief pipe to the control valve. If it is monitored in both directions, the connection uses two such pipes in parallel. The pressure relief pipe(s) leads to the tank from the control circuit of the respective valve, operating its consumer unit in the monitored direction.
