Manufacture of plow bodies. The manufacture of plow bodies (so-called
Plow breasts) from one piece by bending and pressing a cut or
punched steel plate in various dies is known, namely at
the manufacture of plow bodies with heads for double leg the plate on the
Place, which form the sole wall of the plow body; oll, held and the
for the coulter wall and one for the head on the sole wall
Part bent at right angles to the plate by a punch, whereupon by a
second stamp the head beckons and at the same time the sole and coulter wall
be bent more sharply at an angle to each other and the coulter wall arched
will. In the manufacture of plow bodies with heads for simple leg, however
the first time the panel is pressed, the part of the plate corresponding to the coulter wall becomes at right angles
to the part corresponding to the sole wall folded around a curved edge, whereupon
with the second press the two walls are brought into an acute angle to each other,
at the same time the curvature of the coulter wall and the abutting edge of both walls were made
-and: Finally, when you press the third button, the head is shaped. These two procedures
can be used with ease as long as it involves the manufacture of plow bodies
deals with small coulter walls - and large sole walls.
Try,
Plow bodies with large coulter sides and small sole walls by means of this method
were unsuccessful. In this case, the sole wall part was only small
clamped in the first joint, it was mostly under the effect of the punch
pulled out. In addition, the pressing of the two walls in time brought the
acute angle and the arching of one wall as well as the abutting edge have the disadvantage
with it that the plow bodies were mostly cracked at the ends of the abutting edge. Plow body
with a large coulter wall and a small sole wall could only be made of cast steel until now
but not by bending and pressing. Have such plow bodies
compared to plow bodies with a small share wall the advantage of better fastening options
for coulter and mouldboard: in addition, they experience resistance when plowing
recorded from a larger area than in the other case.
The present invention now aims to provide plow bodies of this type as well
by bending and pressing without the above-mentioned disadvantages occurring.
The invention consists in that in the method of manufacture
of plow bodies by bending and pressing a cut or punched one
Steel plate in different dies when first printing the plate at an acute angle
is bent around a straight edge, and that the second press only arches
the coulter wall and the abutting edge of both walls is going on. The third press takes place
in a known way the pressing of the head for simple leg grinds. To exercise this
Procedure, a joint is used for the first pressure, in which the bearing surface,
on which the plate is clamped, at an acute angle to the bearing surface
which folded the sole wall by the stamp around a straight edge of the joint
will.

verlaufende Kante i umgelegt wird.
entsteht.Fig. 1 shows the shape of the unpressed, cut or punched steel sheet; Figs. 2 and 3 are views of the latter after the first pressure, which is done in the joint according to Fig. 4 by means of a stamp according to Fig. 5. Figs. 6 and 7 are views of the plow body after the second pressure, which is carried out in a joint according to Fig. 8 by means of a stamp according to Fig. 9. Figs. Io and ii are views of the finished plow body after the head has been pressed in the joint according to Fig. 12 using an insert according to Fig. 13 by means of a punch according to Fig. 14. As can be seen from Fig. 1, the steel plate to be processed consists of two parts a and b, of which the former a corresponds to the blade wall and the latter b to the sole wall of the plow body to be produced. The edge c, r, m which these two parts are to be bent is shown in dashed lines. As can be seen, part a is larger than part b. The plate is clamped with part a between the two parts d and e of the joint (Fig. Q.). The bearing surface f for the part a of the steel plate corresponding to the coulter wall is at an acute angle to the vertical surface g of the die, to which the part b of the steel sheet is folded around the straight edge i when the punch 1a goes down. This creates the body with an acute angle that can be seen in Figures 2 and 3. This is placed on the second pressure on part k of the joint L (Fig. 8), with the sole wall in the slot m of the joint and the coulter wall a on the edges za of part k . The surface of the part k lying between the edges n is arched up to the bottom o. If the correspondingly shaped piece P (Fig. 9) is moved downwards, the plow body shown in Fig. -> and 3 is pressed into the shape shown in Fig. 6 and 7. The coulter wall a and the abutting edge q of the two walls is now curved. With the joint Fig. 12 in connection with the erosion Fig. 13 and the punch Fig. 1.4 e1 finally follows in a known manner the pressure of the head y, -, that the plow body shown in Fig. 10 and ii arises.
