Da allein in einer Schale stehendes Wasser zu keiner wesentlichen Erhöhung der Luftfeuchtigkeit führen würde, ist erfindungsgemäß ein in die Auffangschale eingelegter gut saugfähiger poröser Stoff vor gesehen, der die zur Verdunstung zur Verfügung stehende Ober fläche gegenüber der Querschnittsfläche der Schale um ein Viel faches erhöht.
