Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Feststellen der Achse irgend eines Gefährtes behufs Abnehmens und Schmierehs der Radachse oder Vornahme einer Reparatur. A ist die Fufsplatte des Gestelles B. Letzteres ist zusammengesetzt aus den mit einander vernieteten Theilen: den beiden Backen C C \ dem Steg D und den beiden Gleitbacken E E1 (s. Schnitt Fig. 4). In der durch diese Theile von e nach f der Fig. 1 und 2 gebildeten Rinne gleitet die mit Sperrzähnen versehene Stange F, welche an ihrem oberen Ende mittelst eines Stiftes G in den beiden Schlitzen HH1 der Backen C C1 gleitet und darin gleichzeitig festgehalten wird. Dieser obere Theil von F ist durch Stift G und durch Doppelgelenk G1 mit dem kurzen Ende des Hebels J verbunden, welch letzterer seinen Stützpunkt im Stift K hat. Um das T-förmige Vorderende der Stange F legt sich die Doppelklaue L des Radachsenauflagers M und kann auf diese Weise hoch- und niedergestellt werden. Gleichzeitig ist M mit einer unten etwas zugeschärften Stütze N versehen, welch letztere sich in die Sperrzähne der Stange F einlegen kann. Es verbleibt zwischen den Klauen L und dem Raum hinter dem T-förmigen Ende von F so viel Raum, dafs M mit seinem vorderen Ende einen kurzen Bogen beschreiben kann und dadurch gestattet, die Stütze N auszuklinken und nach dem Verschieben von M wieder einzuklinken. Die Wirkungsweise dieses Wagenhebers beruht als solcher darauf, dafs, nachdem man die zu hebende Wagenachse über das Auflager M gebracht und darauf durch Niederdrücken des langen Hebelarmes J den Wagen gehoben hat, die Hebelverbindung, d. h. die Punkte K K1 G jenseits der Geraden (punktirte Linie g-k) bringt. Im Augenblick, wo die Gerade i-k überschritten wird, drückt die auf M ruhende Last den Hebelarm fest und unwandelbar bis an das Gestell B. A is the footplate of frame B.
