Das für die Befestigung dieses Fahrzeugausrüstungsteils vorgesehene Verbin­ dungselement übergreift die genannte Rippe im Bereich der Öffnungen und besteht im einzelnen aus einem in die Aussparung einendig ein­ greifenden Steg, einem daran anderendig angeformten, sich gegen die freie Randkante der Rippe abstützenden Flansch und zwei beid­ seitig am Steg angeformten Zungenpaaren, von denen jedes jeweils die Rippe in einem Öffnungsbereich übergreift und mit angeformten Rastnasen jeweils von oben und unten her in die jeweilige Öffnung eingreift, wobei noch die Rastnasen jeweils mit einer parallel zum Flansch verlaufenden Rastfläche, einer dieser abgewandten Anlauf­ schräge und an ihren einander benachbarten Endbereichen mit klammer­ artig ineinandergreifenden stufenförmigen Absetzungen ausgebildet sind.Cladding panels, sidewall strips or the like vehicle armor parts made of plastic with Be arranged on the back Fastening elements are known in various embodiments. Zur einfachen Herstellung, insbeson­ dere im Hinblick auf die Entformung trägt das Teilmerkmal d) wesentlich bei. Das Teilmerkmal e) dient der noch weitergehenden Vermeidung von Einfallstellen an der Außenseite des Ausrüstungsteils, der Material- und Gewichseinsparung und insbesondere in Verbindung mit dem Teilmerkmal f) zur besonders einfachen und zuverlässigen Anordnung der Befestigungselemente, die hierfür lediglich eine dem Querschnitt der Einzelstege entsprechende Aufnahmeöffnung benötigen. Im Radienbereich der peripheri­ schen Randkante, und zwar parallel zu den Randkanten 2 und 3 ist jeweils ein in mehrere mit Abstand in Reihe nebeneinander positio­ nierte Einzelstege 5 unterteilter Steg angeformt. Jeder Einzelsteg 5 ist L-förmig ausgebildet und besitzt einen, an der Seitenwandleiste angebundenen und zu deren Hauptebene etwa senkrecht ausgerichteten ersten Schenkel und einen freien, etwa parallel zur erwähnten Haupt­ ebene ausgerichteten zweiten Schenkel.   • a) die Randkante (2, 3, 4) über einen relativ engen Radius nach hinten gekrümmt ist,
  • b) der Steg im Radienbereich der Randkante (2, 3, 4) angeformt ist,
  • c) der Steg einen L-förmigen Querschnitt aufweist,
  • d) der freie Schenkel des Stegs der Randkante (2, 3, 4) abge­ wandt ausgerichtet ist,
  • e) der Steg in mehrere mit Abstand in Reihe nebeneinander positionierte Einzelstege (5) unterteilt ist und
  • f) jeder Einzelsteg (5) mit einem daran abzugs- und verschiebe­ sicher festlegbaren Befestigungselement (6) bestückbar ist.
