Claims (3)

1. Verfahren zur Dekontaminierung von Stoffen z. B. Erdreich, welches mit Kohlenwasserstoffen kondaminiert ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
  • - mindestens 3 Hohlschnecken (40), die jede für sich in einem oben verschlossenen Trog (41), der als Doppel­ manteltrog (42) ausgebildet ist, übereinander angeordnet sind,
  • - alle Schnecken mit einem oder vorzugsweise jede Schnecke für sich von einem eigenen Wärmeträgermedium, z. B. Heißdampf, Sattdampf, Diphyl etc. oder flüssigem Natrium durchströmt und aufgeheizt werden, wobei auch jeweils der Doppelmanteltrog getrennt mit durchströmt wird,
  • - das zu dekontaminierende Material über den Eintrag (43), ggf. durch eine Schleuse, in die erste Schnecke einge­ tragen und durch die Schneckenbewegung und einem Über­ gang (44) von einem Trog in den anderen, bei stetigem Aufheizen weiter befördert und an der letzten Schnecke über einen Austrag (45), ggf. durch eine Schleuse, aus­ geworfen wird,
  • - die Verdampfungsprodukte, in der ersten Stufe meist Wasserdampf, über Leitungen (46), vorzugsweise getrennt abgezogen und einer Verwertung oder Beseitigung zuge­ führt werden.
