Zu diesem Zwecke sind Löcher in dem Wannen- oder Beckenrand vorzusehen, in die die Verschraubungen an den Füßen der Hähne d und c eingreifen. Sind diese Durchbrechungen im Rand des Beckens oder der Wanne in größerem oder kleinerem Abstand vorgesehen, als dies normal der Fall ist, dann muß für diese besonderen Wünsche eine besondere Armatur hergestellt werden, was besonders für den Auslandsverkehr sehr lästig ist. Des ferneren aber schwinden die Stoffe, die für die Becken und Wannen benutzt werden, ungleich, so daß diese Entfernungen der Durchbrechungen schon an sich als sehr ungleich anzunehmen sind. Dies macht ebenfalls erhebliche Schwierigkeiten für die Befestigung und erfordert sehr oft Nacharbeitungen.
