Fig. 6 und 7).
Ceramic washbasin. The invention relates to a Wasehtiseh made of ceramic material. Such washbasins are already known which, due to their construction, have the disadvantage that they are difficult to assemble. With their rear part they lie directly against the wall of the room, so that there is no more space to accommodate the water supply and drainage pipes. Another disadvantage of the known washbasins is that the fittings have to be placed on a special cover plate or on the upper edge of the washbasin.
This also made it more difficult to assemble the washbasin.
These disadvantages are completely eliminated by the inven tion by pulling the back wall of the washbasin vertically or diagonally up to a console plate above the edge of the basin and the gonsol plate extending freely backwards, so that at the same time the space under the gonsöl plate is kept free for assembly, with the spout made of ceramic material for the incoming water and the fittings sitting directly on .der raised rear wall.
In order to avoid water setbacks resulting from the transfer of the hot water into the cold water pipe or vice versa, the said outlet can be connected to a receiving chamber cast on the back wall of the pool, which is divided into two sub-chambers by a partition wall, in which the was - and hot water supply lines open, with the outlet being designed as an overflow for the receiving chamber and the intermediate wall in the area of the receiving chamber is drawn up over the full height of the overflow.
Preferably, the inlet pipes for the hot and cold water opening into the receiving chamber are set between the chamber and another fixed connection point by tensioning devices acting against the chamber, the tensioning devices being designed as seals at the same time.
In addition to the wash basin, a spittoon can be connected, and the raised rear wall can be extended beyond the width of the spittoon, and a ceramic spout for rinsing water can also be arranged above the spittoon in the rear wall.
In order to prevent water flashbacks even if there is no special receiving chamber for hot and cold water. The hot or cold water supply lines can also be connected directly to the outlet, namely their ends can merge at an acute angle into the outlet, whereby they preferably narrow like a nozzle in the direction of the watercourse.
The entry points of the water supply lines into the outlet are lower than the connection points of the supply pipes located on the raised rear wall. This ensures that the water falls steadily from the connection pipes to the outlet.
The training can also be made in such a way that the entry points of the water supply lines into the outlet are higher than the connection points of the supply pipes, where, however, between the connection points and the outlet, vertices, that is, heights of the watercourse are located, so that on in any case, water flashbacks are prevented.
In order to achieve good mixing of hot and cold water, which only takes place in the outlet, the hot and cold water supply lines preferably open into the upper half of the cross section of the outlet, with the axes of the hot and cold water supply lines crossing each other.
From the subject matter of the invention, the other specific possible embodiments to- t5 are illustrated in the accompanying drawings from management examples, namely show: FIG. 1 is a plan view of a wash table, FIG. 2 is a section through another embodiment of a wash basin, FIG a plan view of the outlet part of the basin according to FIG. 2 on a larger scale,
4 shows a horizontal section through the outlet part of a basin, in which hot and cold water supply lines are connected to a collecting space, FIG. 5 shows a plan view of a wash basin equipped with a wash basin and spittoon, FIG. 6 shows a section according to FIG.
the lines a-b through FIG. 5 and FIG. 7 a section along the lines c-d through FIG. 5.
The vanity of Fig. 1 forms in its lower part, the sink 1, the back wall 2 is pulled up over the edge of the pool. Above the edge of the pool, the rear wall 2 carries the console plate 3, which extends freely to the rear and rests against the wall 4 with its rear edge. In this way, a free space is formed between the basin 1 and the wall 4, in which the connection lines can be accommodated.
As can be seen in FIG. 1, the console plate 3 is surrounded on all sides by a water catching edge 5. At the same time, the vertical rear wall 2, which is only shown in dashed lines, the cast-on spout 6 for incoming hot and cold water. On the rear wall 2, the fittings, such as hot and cold taps, are further attached.
In Fig. 2, another embodiment of the basin I 'is shown., The rear wall 2' is also raised. 3 'is the console plate with the water catching edge 5'.
By retracting the console plate 3 ', a free space is again formed between the wall 4 and the basin 1 for the connection of the water supply pipes. In the embodiment of the basin shown here, the hot and cold water supply lines 7 respectively open. 8 (Fig. 3) directly 3n the common outlet 6 '.
This outlet 6 'extends backwards into a housing part 9 located under the console plate 3'. The hot and cold water supply lines 7 and 7 respectively. 8 first lead to the hot and cold water taps not shown, which can also be arranged on the rear wall 2 '.
The supply pipes 7, 8 are connected to the housing in suitable connection points 10 and 11, where from these connection points channels 12 and 18 lead to the outlet 6 ', which are Narrow in the direction of the watercourse, open at an angle into the outlet 6 'and lie with their mouth points in the upper cross-sectional half of the outlet 6'. The supply pipes 7, 8 are tightly clamped by clamping nuts 14, seals 15 being switched on at the same time.
The connection points of the hot and cold water supply lines 7, 8 are higher than the confluence points of the intermediate channels 13, 12 in the common outlet 6 ', so that a steady drop in the ZVa, sserzulaufes is level, which prevents setbacks . The warm resp. Cold water # flows from the intermediate channels 12, 13 like nozzles into the outlet and mixes in this very quickly due to the special arrangement of the inlet pipes.
1.6 is the drain opening for the water seen in the bottom of the basin 1.
In the embodiment of the wash basin shown in FIG. 4, a receiving chamber 17 is connected to the basin rear wall 2 ″, which is divided by a partition 18 into two sub-chambers 19 and 20. The outlet 6 ″ is connected to the receiving chamber 17 according to Art An overflow is connected in such a way that hot and cold water are only mixed in the outlet 6 ″. For this purpose, the partition 18 in the area of the receiving chamber 17 extends beyond the full height of the outlet 6 ″ pulled up. 21 and 22 are the taps for the hot and cold water supply 23 and 24.
The water is passed on to the chambers 19, 20 through intermediate lines 26, 25 which open into the chambers 20 and 19 respectively. The connection of the lines 25, 26 is done by screw connections 27, 28 respectively. 29, 30, these screw connections in turn being designed as seals at the same time.
By the control organs 21, 22 respectively. The connection of the supply lines 23, 24 to the tank rear wall 2 ″ are created fixed points so that the intermediate lines 25, 26 can be braced between these fixed points and the receiving chamber 17. The warm or cold water runs through the lines 24 , 23 and 25, 26 after chambers 19, 20.
These chambers are first filled until the warm and cold water at the transition point 40 pass into the outlet 6 ″, where the mixture follows. Only then does the water flow out into the basin. The receiving chamber 17 is again used to prevent blows avoid.
In the embodiment of the wash table according to FIGS. 5 to 7, 1 '' 'is the basin next to which a spittoon 31 is superimposed. Both basins are separated from one another by the intermediate wall 32, which is kept slightly lower than the joint Pool edge 33. In this way, an overflow is created after the spittoon 31 if the valve of the water outlet 16 '' 'should be closed or clogged.
In addition, however, as FIG. 6 shows, the generally known overflow 34 is provided in the wash basin 1, which overflows into the water drain.
The rear rear wall 2 '' 'extends over the entire width of the two adjacent basins and is drawn up vertically or diagonally at the rear over the height of the basin rim 33 (see FIGS. 6 and 7). In this way, the Fittings on the front, the raised rear wall 2 '' 'to be attached. As indicated, for example, by the opening 35 located above the spittoon 31.
The arrangement of the fittings on the rear wall of the basin makes it easier to operate. At the upper edge, the rear wall 2 '' 'again merges into a console plate 3' '' which rests against the room wall 4. It is under half the console plate 3 '' 'again a free space for -the accommodation, the water supply and drainage created.
Above the wash basin 1 "'is the spout 6 protruding from the rear wall for hot and cold water. This is also made of ceramic material and is pulled out of the rear wall 2"'. In a corresponding manner, there is also an outlet 36 made of ceramic material for the rinse water above the spittoon 31, which preferably extends over the entire width of the spittoon 31. 37 is the drain for the spittoon.
As in the previous embodiments, the console plate 3 '' 'is also surrounded by a water-collecting edge 38. The console plate is also partially designed as a support 39 for soap or the like.
It is expedient that all parts of the wash basin consist of a single piece of material, namely always of ceramic material, in which only the fittings, such as taps, water pipes and the like, have to be inserted.
