Description
The invention relates to a protective cover according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a protective cover is, for example, from GB-PS 10 94 883 known. This is the part in the water of decommissioned ships with the roughly adapted to the hull Protective cover against fouling. The protective cover is attached to the deck and that within the waterproof Protective water is partially drained. In the residual water between the fuselage and protective cover then an antifouling agent may be given. The protective cover also has weights that pass through a rope Move can be positioned.
Furthermore, DE 24 26 585 C2 describes that for Example buoys, barrels and instrument carriers that are in sea water be very strongly anchored by biological pollution and Deposits are affected. To prevent this growth attack or at least to reduce them, so-called antifouling Used paints that take their toxins very slowly release the surrounding water. The temporal effect of this Painting is limited, however, and painting itself can only be made on land. Such antifouling paints are also known for boats.
Contaminate the described antifouling agents or wax however, the waters to an unacceptable extent, which is why of their use is not recommended.
Will man dies verhindern, so muß das Restwasser mühsam abgepumpt und in einen Speicherbehälter abgefahren werden.DE 24 28 945 C2 describes a device for protecting the Hull of a boat described, which from a the hull of below at least up to the waterline and also waterproof film-like material in the form of a bag, the edge of which is similar to that surrounding the boat a buoyant and floating buoyancy bead runs out, which is designed as an elastic air hose and in which a ballast insert is incorporated to ensure that the support bead actually between the hull and the ice layer that forms in winter comes to rest. The Air hose can be attached to the deck with lines. At the top The area of the pocket is below the air hose mentioned a welded socket with a hose connection is provided, through which in the space between the pocket and the water from the hull is sucked out and if necessary by air or fresh water can be replaced. An in check valve located on the keel of the bag, which is the in drains the water in the space in between, if air is injected through the hose mentioned. However, the device has the disadvantage that to drain the Water very high, usually not available at all Air pressures are to be applied, so that ultimately in the Space between the boat hull and the bag still residual water remains, so that algae growth on the boat hull only can be offered to a small extent. In the end DE 24 30 728 A1 relates to a generic device to accommodate a floating boat, especially a sailing yacht, a motor boat or the like. With this device the water immediately surrounding the boat should be separated from the rest Water of a lake, a lake or the like separately will. For this, a V-shaped shell is made from a waterproof Proposed a film with a slot that can be closed on one side, a zipper to close and open it serves, along a rigid part connected to the shell is arranged and which can be operated from a single location is. The cover can be on its underside by means of a weight be complained. The device is used in such a way that When the zipper is open, the boat enters the hull and the Zipper is then closed. In the residual water between the hull and the hull an antifreeze, e.g. B. ethylene glycol may be added. This device too has the disadvantage that the water when opening the bag by the antifreeze or any other added Agent is contaminated. If you want to prevent this, you have to Residual water is laboriously pumped out and drained into a storage tank will.
Furthermore, the US-PS 31 42 283 describes a protective cover has a single one-way valve in the lower area. This However, the valve is not sufficient to cover the gap between The ship's hull and protective cover contain water when it is pulled up to let the shell flow outwards. Thus threatens with Pulling up the protective cover tearing, provided that it can be lifted required high forces at all without the aid of mechanically operated lifting devices are applied can.
The US-PS 40 46 094 finally describes a ship's hull, a pipe on the keel line or two pipes with one on both sides A large number of outflow openings are arranged, from which Fresh water is pumped because of its specifically smaller size Weight along the hull to the water surface flows and thus represent antifouling protection should. However, the constant supply of fresh water is very expensive. Weights are also weighted, with inlays reinforced plastic curtains lowered vertically from the edge of the boat, which are supposed to prevent any sea water flow.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a protective cover and to specify a method of the type mentioned at the beginning which is effective biological pollution and deposits, e.g. B. of algae prevented on the hull and that without the previous Devices great effort at or below that in the water lying boat can be attached.
This object is achieved by the protective cover described in claim 1 solved.
The protective cover is attached to the front end Bow if necessary rolled into the water over the bow, then the remaining cords or ropes are successively pulled onto the deck, tense and on the hull or hull or the railing attached, the rear part of the protective cover last pulled up and the weight (s) arranged there the tensioning of the rear part of the cover removed from the cover will or will and eventually eventually the interior of the shell is pumped empty.
The protective cover has the following advantages. The weight or weights (about 50-100 g per weight) are not constantly on the Protective cover attached or even incorporated into it. Thereby the protective cover can be worn separately from the weights. The weights are attached to the protective cover only for the purpose attached, preferably to the rear part of the protective cover, if these are let into the water and in the area below the Bootes should be sunk. These weights can be after Pulling up the film on the hull removed and may be used for the next protective cover.
In the solutions known from the prior art, one has usually dispenses with that between the hull and to remove residual water from the casing or one would have to do a lot of work with compressed air. The after prevent one-way valves provided by the present invention, that the amount of water in the envelope at Put on the protective cover must be pulled up. Is the protective cover attached to the bow and then into the Water sunk and dragged along under the boat the, the tail cords are gradually pulled up, whereby automatically the inside water of the protective cover escapes through the one-way valves.
After training the related to the protective cover Invention is on one or more of the for attachment to Rope or cord ends serving on the ship or boat edge a floating body is provided. This or these have the Advantage that the user of the slide at the moment of Ver do not lower the film after it is attached to the bow of the ship must take care of the rope ends; he can use them with little effort means of the floating body, which is preferably made of plastic or Are cork and therefore light weight, "again to catch".
To pull the protective cover up to the edge of the hull probably when pulling on the cords attached to the sleeve side lightening as well as in the rear area are in the un teren area of the protective cover several, preferably evenly Distributed one-way valves provided.
In order to destroy the plastic film both when it comes to delivery as well as in their condition on the boat as well to avoid on land, it is still proposed to art fabric film with reinforcing inserts, such as in a e.g. rubber hose reinforced with wire or other inserts, too pull through. Furthermore, the plastic film preferably has high elasticity and tear resistance and is against Son radiation resistant.
The protective cover advantageously consists of one more partial welded plastic film with a welding bond between those facing each other after welding inside of the plastic Foil edge zones, the one-way valves made of unwelded Route sections of the plastic film edge zones formed will. These sections of the route open when pulled up the protective cover due to the inside of the protective cover itself thereby increasing hydrostatic pressure while the unwelded foil edge zones at the opposite Put movement together. This solution is inexpensive, simple producible and at the same time extremely effective.
To completely drain the residual water between the Enabling the hull and protective cover is at the lowest point in the interior of the shell towards the interior open hose provided, over which the one located in the interior Water is pumpable.

Fig. 7 eine skizzierte schematische Darstellung der Folie. Fig. 7 is a sketched schematic representation of the film.
The protective cover 10 shown in the figures, in particular FIG. 7, consists of a film of plastic or the like which is approximately adapted to the boat hull and which preferably has reinforcing inserts 17 . At the upper edge of the film, this has a hem to which ropes 14 are fastened both in the bow area and in the side and rear area, of which in the embodiment shown in FIG. 7 only the ropes 14 arranged laterally at their rope ends 14 a are floating rings 4 Have plastic. Further, weights 11 are at the hem 8 in the rear region releasably fastened in such a way that it 20 abge accepted and can be pulled up to the illustrated in FIG. Further cable 2. In the present case, the protective cover, which is intended to serve for a sailboat, has a plurality of one-way valves 16 arranged longitudinally and along the line (center) formed by the ship's hull centerline. The larger the film and the larger the amount of water that accumulates in its interior, the more disposable valves should be provided. A hose 18 can also be inserted at the deepest point of the film, through which the film interior can be pumped empty.
The application of the film is clear from FIGS. 1-6. First, a bow attachment 1 of the film is provided, which is then rolled into the water over the front edge of the bow. The user holds the ends of the cables attached to the stern area of the protective cover 10 and guides them in the direction of arrow 2 to the ship's stern, the film 10 being pulled under the ship's hull. The user does not need to worry about the rest of the cables for fastening the sheath 10 in the side area of the ship, since at the ends 14 a float 4 , here plastic rings, are seen before, which float on the water and at any time by means of a boat hook 5 can be captured again. When the protective cover is passed through, the user does not need to use much force either, he only has to bring the force for the lateral movement of the film in the water.
Has the user, as shown in Fig. 2, the protective cover from the bow under the boat to the stern completely pulled out, the rear cords are provisionally attached (see reference number 3 ).
Subsequently, as shown in Fig. 3, each plastic ring 4 is gradually captured and cords for a designated with the reference sign 6 sufficient attachment of the sides by tightening the ropes in question and securing them to the railing or the hull. As shown in Fig. 4, the rear part is finally pulled up in the direction of the arrow 7 , preferably (not shown), the weights 8 are removed. Here, a large part of the water in the protective cover flows through the one-way valves 16 to the outside, so that a relatively tight fitting of the protective cover according to the illustration in FIG. 5 is possible.
The, for example, 4 m long hose 18 provided with a weight is sunk laterally between the protective cover and the outer wall of the boat down into the bilge of the protective cover. In order to pump out the residual water, the hose 18 is connected to a pump and the residual water quantity is removed. The protective cover fits snugly against the boat; in any case, the boat is practically drained in this way and secured against contamination and deposits below the waterline. Above all, the protective cover will put on the keel, the screw and the rudder during pumping and protect them from algae and shell growth. The boat is ready for a longer break in the water, e.g. for an overwintering.
Fig. 6 shows the final state, shown on an auxiliary motor equipped sailboat.
When the boat or ship is put back into operation, they run described operations in reverse order. First, one or more weights are put on in the rear area attached to the film, the weight size to be measured is that after loosening the rear attachment of the films there part sinks. The tail rope ends are held in place.
After loosening the side fasteners, the protective cover becomes un pulled forward and at the bow end of the boat pulled out of the water, brought ashore, cleaned, dried net, folded or rolled up again. The weights can NEN either remain attached to the protective cover or Taking off a next slide can be used.
