Description
The invention relates to an articulated arm awning an outer drop bar and with inner brackets for each an articulated arm, each bracket at least one fixed mounting part and one along this along a circular arc adjustable by means of screw bolts Articulated bracket for the upper arm of an articulated arm arrangement includes and the arcuate backdrop with its concave Side to the drop rod, so that their center of curvature in is arranged substantially between it and the drop bar.
The invention relates to an articulated arm awning, as described for example in US Pat. No. 1,759,715. According to the embodiment there according to FIG. 1, a bearing block with two fork legs and one pivot pin passing through the two fork legs and two projections arranged on a plate serves to hold the upper arm of an articulated arm arrangement. The plate connected to the hinge arrangement via the bearing block is pivotally held on the supporting part. The support part and the plate each have a backdrop of the same curvature and length and a fixed bolt, which is guided in the opposite backdrop of the support part or the plate. By loosening the screw bolts, the tilt position of the awning can therefore be changed by the angular amount encompassed by the curved backdrops.
A steeper inclination of the awning fabric is set, by the bearing block connected to the plate accordingly pivoted upwards in the setting of the supporting part. As a result, the part of the bearing bracket on the articulated arm side turned relatively far down, at most by the angular amount covered by the backdrop.
This is where the invention comes in. You lie based on the task known from US-PS 17 59 715 Articulated arm awning so that the retracted Awning construction in a simple way even then relative remains compact when the tilting position of the awning cover to be extended set steeply downwards from the horizontal is.
The invention solves this problem by that the backdrop comprises two sections that are on different Radii lie around the common center of curvature as well as overlap each other in the circumferential direction and of which each one of the bolts of the pedestal adjustable leads.
While in the prior art, as explained at the beginning, the steepness of the awning inclination only by pivoting the plate connected to the bearing block in a backdrop of the supporting part, the bearing block is in two sets of different radii, but with one thing in common Center of curvature guided. This ensures that the upper bolts of the bearing block when setting one greater angle of inclination upwards and at the same time in front, the lower bolt upwards and at the same time is led backwards. This makes the adjustment path clear become smaller than in the prior art. Besides, can by choosing the location of the common center of curvature Influence on the height of the articulated arms when retracted the awning with different inclination settings are so that the awning is kept more compact overall can be. This option is very important. B. for the Construction of so-called sleeve awnings or box awnings, to ensure a perfect finish with every awning inclination between the sleeve / box and the drop bar.
The center of curvature is expedient - at retracted awning - e.g. B. essentially in the middle between the drop bar and the scenes arranged, this, like before mentioned, for constructional reasons can also have a different location.
In summary, with this arrangement it is possible large adjustment paths with relatively small and therefore to ensure particularly stable backdrop sections.
Die Zeichnungen zeigen einen Querschnitt durch eine Gelenkarmmarkise, und zwarThe invention is based on the following description of a Darge in the drawings presented embodiment explained. The drawings show one Cross section through an articulated arm awning, namely
Fig. 1 eine Einstellung der Gelenkarme für eine im wesent lichen horizontale Tuchaufspannung und Fig. 1 shows an adjustment of the articulated arms for a horizontal cloth clamping in wesent union and
Fig. 2 shows a corresponding arrangement for a Tuchauf tension in a strongly forward-downward inclined extended position.
An articulated arm awning 10 comprises a support tube 11 to be held in a building-fixed manner in bearings (not shown) on which a winding shaft 12 is rotatably held with the aid of further bearings, not shown, which is actuated by a drive. An awning fabric 13 is clamped on the winding shaft 12 at one end (at 14 ) and at the other end (at 15 ) on a drop bar 16 . The drop rod 16 is connected via at least two articulated arm arrangements 17 with forearm 18 and upper arm 19 to a supporting part 20 , which, as can be seen, is fastened to the supporting tube 11 by means of extension arm 20 a.
Forearm 18 and upper arm 19 are articulated to one another in a known manner, namely the forearm 18 via a joint 21 with the drop bar (hinge axis 22 ) and the upper arm 19 via a bearing block 23 . The pivot axis 24 runs through two bracket legs 25 , 26 . At the rear part of the bracket legs 25 , 26 connecting web 27 , two bolts 28 and 29 are arranged, which are adjustably held in a circular backdrop 30 of the support member 20 . In the exemplary embodiment, the backdrop 30 is divided into two arcuate backdrop sections 31 and 32 which overlap one another in a circumferential region (angle 33 ) and have a common center of curvature 34 . The center of curvature 34 is arranged between the link 30 and the drop bar 16 , so that the concave sides of the link portions 31 and 32 point to the drop bar 16 .
Accordingly, when the cloth inclination of FIG. 1 is increased, for example in FIG. 2, after loosening the bolts 28 and 29, the bearing block 23 is moved upwards in the setting. The articulated arm arrangement 17 with the drop rod 16 and the bearing block 23 oscillates about a pivot axis defined by the center of curvature 34 . Thus, the throat of the arrangement in the vertical direction between the two extreme positions ( Fig. 1 and Fig. 2) is relatively small.
By dividing the backdrop 30 into the two, another in the circumferential direction overlapping backdrop sections 31 and 32 , high stability is achieved with a compact structure and great adjustability (large variation of the cloth inclination).
The winding shaft 12 and the awning cloth 13 wound on it is surrounded by a slit tube-like sleeve 35 which is pivotally received in end bearings, not shown, about the longitudinal axis of the winding shaft 12 . The sleeve can thus be adapted to the position of the drop bar set in each case. Also in connection with this, the invention is important, namely through the special arrangement of the holding tion, the designated 36 gap between the sleeve edge 37 and the drop bar 16 can be kept very small.
