Claims (12)

1. An arrangement with two work tops (3, 6) supported so as to be adjustable relative to one another in respect of height and/or inclination, for carrying data-processing equipment, in particular a screen and a keyboard, wherein one of the work tops (3) is carried by a pedestal (1) adjustably supported for height and/or inclination and the other work top (6) is carried by at least one link member (4; 13 ; 17), characterised in that this at least one link member (4; 13; 17) carrying the work top (6) is supported by the other work top (3).
2. An arrangement according to Claim 1, characterised in that a threaded spindle (8) for setting and adjusting height is provided on the link member (4; 13 ; 17) which spindle bears against the work top (3).
3. An arrangement according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the link member (4) is one- armed or in that the link (13) is in the form of a U-shaped shackle (Fig. 3, 4).
4, An arrangement according to Claim 1 or 2, , characterised in that the link member comprises two parallel link members (17) connected to one another in a torsionally rigid manner (Fig. 5).
5. An arrangement according to any of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the second work top (6) is also rotatably supported by the link member (4; 13 ; 17), preferably about a vertical axis of rotation.
6. An arrangement according to any of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the or each link member (4) is formed with upwardly projecting cranked free ends, so that the second work top (6) carried thereby can be raised above the first work top (3) according to height (Fig. 6).

An arrangement according to any of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the link member (4) or the second work top (6) carried thereby is supported so that it can be folded under the first work top (3), so that in the folded position the second work top (6) is swung under the first work top (3) (Fig. 9).
10. An arrangement according to any of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that at least two link members (4', 4") are disposed side by side or one above the other in the manner of a parallelogram link system, wherein one link member is arranged so that it can be adjusted and set in height relative to the other link member so as to adjust the inclination of the second work top (6) relative to a horizontal plane (Fig. 10, 11).
11. An arrangement according to Claim 3, characterised in that the arms (17) of the U-shaped shackle link member (13) are wider than the first work top (3) so that the second work top (6) carried thereby can be swung beyond the first work top (3) (Fig. 13, 14).
