Es ist bekannt, daß man sich hei der Aufnahme von Elektrokardiogrammen, hei denen es sich , darum handelt, die Richtung des größten Spannungsgradienten zu ermitteln, nicht auf die Aufnahme eines einzigen Kardiogramms beschränken darf. Es ist vielmehr hierzu die gleichzeitige Messung in mindestens zwei Stromkreisen notwendig, beispielsweise erstens in einem Stromkreis, der sich von Hand zu Hand, zweitens in einem Stromkreis, der sich vom Fuß zu rechter Hand schließt.
