Description

The invention relates to a device for attaching a mechanical connection on the cable sheath of a cable, preferred example of an optical cable consisting of an abutment, a Threaded bolt and at least one clamping element exists where at the abutment clamping means for intercepting tension and support elements of the cable and claws directed towards the cable sheath has elements and where the cable sheath continues comprehensive clamping element is arranged and this clamping element an intervention for the thread inserted in the abutment has bolts and that the clamping element with a Klemmele ment can be fixed on the threaded bolt against the abutment according to patent application P 36 11 647.5.

A device of the type described above is known from the ge called patent application known. This device is used for Interception of cables, especially optical cables. The optical cables to be intercepted are longitudinally blue on the inside tractive elements that are attached to a threaded connector speaking clamping means are fixed. The continue in opti The cables arranged support elements are relatively stiff and must therefore be intercepted as straight as possible. For this purpose, a clamping means is used, which ab on an abutment Catching device for the cable sheath is arranged. Since the Support elements of the cable are usually arranged in the center the abutment is bent towards the cable center to support it to be able to accommodate the support element in as straight a form as possible nen. This can lead to difficulties because the Ab bend of the abutment not opti for every cable diameter times can be determined.

For the present invention there is therefore the task of a Support for the support elements of an optical cable shape that the support element each in a straight form the cable assembly can be intercepted. The posed Task will now be explained with the device of the beginning Art solved in that the tension elements in the area of the Klem are intercepted clampingly on the threaded bolt and that the Support elements separately in a luster-type clamp me trained clamping means on an extension of the abutment are intercepted, the clamp designed as a luster terminal medium adjustable in the position perpendicular to the cable axis is arranged.

The advantage of the invention can now be seen in the fact that Clamping means designed as a luster clamp for the interception of the support element in the optical cable in the direction perpendicular to Cable axis can be adjusted so that the support element can be intercepted in a straight form without bending. In order to a deformation of the support element is no longer necessary and the risk of injury to the support element or the order lying sensitive optical cable cores is eliminated.

The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to a figure, in the next to the known interception device for the Tension elements shown the new support for the support element is.

The left part of the figure shows the interception device according to patent application P 36 11 647.5 in which the cable sheath K is fastened to an abutment 1 with the aid of a hose clamp 2 . The hose clamp 2 is clamped by a threaded bolt 3 and the associated clamping means 4 a in the form of a nut. The further attachment is carried out, for example, with the aid of a perforated tape LB and further clamping means 4 b on support elements provided for this purpose, for example a cable sleeve. The tension elements ZE of the cable K are also intercepted in this clamping unit, here these tension elements ZE being looped around the threaded bolt 3 and finally clamped. The abutment 1 is now provided with an extension 1 a , which is formed so long that the support element SE of the cable K can be intercepted without obstructing the other cable wires not shown here. For this purpose, a clamping means is used, which is designed in the form of a luster terminal LK . This luster terminal LK is now so connected with an adjusting screw VS that an adjustment perpendicular to the axis of the cable is possible. This adjustment can be effected, for example, by a thread in the luster terminal itself or by a thread in the extension 1 a if the adjusting screw VS is actuated in the corresponding direction of rotation. A fixation of the final state can then be sufficient for example with lock nuts. Since the support elements SE in Lichtwellenleiterka beln very stiff and therefore hardly bendable, the previously known cranking of the extension 1 a to the axis of the cable has only been optimal for a very small cable diameter range. The clamping of the support element SE according to the type of the invention with the aid of a luster terminal LK , which is adjustable via the adjusting screw VS in the form of a socket head screw, can now always be optimally performed without a bend and without a bend. During assembly, it is advantageous to first push the LK terminal block onto the SE support element and then screw the cylinder screw together through the setting nut or a threaded nozzle and the LK terminal block until the screw head comes to a stop. Then the support element SE is fixed in the luster terminal LK . Stresses in the support element SE are thus avoided.
