Metallfolie zur Herstellung von Druckformen. Die Verwendung von mit Maschinen oder von Hand beschriebenen Metallfolien als Druckform ist bekannt (s. britische Patentschriften 531/r886 und 16173/r893). Praktisch bewährt hat sich dieses Verfahren bei der Herstellung von Druckplatten für Adressiermaschinen, jedoch kann man hierbei schon nicht mehr von Folien sprechen. Es wind vielmehr idünnes Zinkblech verwendet, welches mittels hierfür gebauter, mit positiven .und negativen .Stahltypen versehener Prägemaschinen von großer Durchschlagkraft beschriftet wird. Es dürfte jedoch kaum möglich sein, in eine ,beim Druck genügend Widerstand bietende Folie mit einer ,Schreibmaschine (die Typen so tief einzuschlagen, idaß der Grund der Platte nicht mitdruckt.Metal foil for the production of printing forms.
