Cork machine for closing bottles. The invention relates to
the installation of a corking machine or bottle closing machine in which the
Power drive is given by a pneumatic device. The well-known mechanical
Drives in cork machines do not work smoothly and especially suffer from that.
Disadvantage that, because of the unequal size of the individual bottles, flexible means
usually a spring or groups of springs must be interposed, whereby the
Force expression is uneven, so that the bottle breakage and: the associated

to the. Corking necessary movements of the bottles and .the cork by a flexible
Power means, namely compressed air, can be obtained by placing suitable pistons in cylinders
guided and alternately loaded with compressed air. The completely bumpless
This guarantees work. In addition, the expression of force is from the beginning
until. End, the movement of the bottles completely evenly. An unequal length
the bottles can therefore not have any adverse consequences. For example, at
a machine for capping crown caps by a lower piston in a cylinder
of the machine stand, which alternates on one side and. on the other

has been used as a force transmitter to achieve the required movement,
that, despite these known facilities, the use of compressed air for the

could not be achieved, while according to the present invention, the control of the

The bottle table i is horizontally rotatable by means of the vertical axis .2 and carries the bowls 3 for receiving the bottles q .. In the machine stand, a cylinder 5 is provided in which a stepped piston 6 plays, the smaller piston of which. 7 passes upwards and carries the pressure plate 8. On the other side of the cylinder, a spindle g passes through the end wall of the cylinder 5 and is guided by means of a coarse thread io in the hub of the gear wheel ii. This gear wheel meshes with a gear wheel 12 wedged onto the bottle plate axis 2. The locking mechanism 13 prevents the gear wheel from swinging in one direction of rotation and only allows it to swing out in the other direction of rotation. The compressed air is through a hose connection 1d. o. The like. Supplied and occurs in the drawn position of the control slide 15 through the channels 1b into the cavity of the slide and from there under the piston 6, which is lifted thereby and by means of the plate 8 the bowl 3 with the bottle q. lifts. The attached crown capsule 18 is thereby pressed against the counter-pressure ram ig, the upper surface of which is under the pressure of the compressed air located in the guide cylinder 2o and supplied through the channel ei optionally controlled by the slide 15. The crown capsule 18 is drawn onto the bottle by means of the die 22 while evading the counter-pressure stamp ig. After completion of this work, the compressed air located under the piston 6 flows out through the channel 23 , so that the compressed air in the slide 15 is relaxed. The on the control slide surfaces 2d. The onerous pressure is thereby lower, and: it predominates .the area 25 loaded by unthrottled compressed air, whereby the control slide is lifted and the channels 16 are shut off. The compressed air then flows through the slots 26 and the shell screwing 27 into the channel 28, which leads into: the upper ring 7-ylinder 5. As a result, the piston 6 is guided downwards again, which by means of the twist io rotates the gears fi and 12 and thus the table i by a certain angle so that the next bottle comes under the counter-pressure plunger ig. . In the meantime, the area 25 is relieved by the free exhaust of the exhaust duct 23, while the area 24 is loaded again by the compressed residual air below the piston 6 inside the slide i 5. This results in a reverse reversal of the slide 1 5 , and the piston 6 rises again.
