Vorrichtung zur Vermeidung von Neurombildung. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung, welche die Neurom- (Nervengeschwulst-) Bildung an durchtrennten Nerven, besonders an Amputationsstümpfen, nach Nervenresektion u. a. verhindern soll. Sämtliche bisher angewandten Methoden (Kauterisieren, keilförmige Exzision am Nervenende und Vernähung der Wundflächen des Nerven u. a.) sind ohne Erfolg, da sie zumeist Rezidive zeitigen. Das Tragen der künstlichen Arme und Beine irgendwelcher Modelle wird hierdurch unmöglich. Die in der Zeichnung abgebildete Vorrichtung besteht in einer Hülse aus -Silber o. dgl., in der unter strengster Beobachtung der Asepsis das freie Nervenende festgelegt wird.
