Dadurch vermindert
Pressure air vessel for water pipes with an automatic valve.
The invention relates to a pressure air vessel for water pipes, in which a known
Automatic air valve allows the air to escape freely when the water level is low,
from a certain water level but closes the outlet, so that then
forms a compressed air cushion. The device only acts as a pure air chamber,
when the water has reached a certain level; but before that, d. H. in which
first official, the water drives air out of the valve and takes place here
an obstructive resistance, since extremely fine bores are provided in the valve
are pushed out by the air under the existing print or at
Sinking of the water is admitted. The innovation is that a plurality
such automatic valves are mounted at different heights. This diminishes
the number of valves still free of water gradually increases as the water rises
and the total cross-section for the air outlet.
In the drawing, the invention is illustrated in Fig. X, while
Fig. 2 on an enlarged scale the cross section of a known to be used
Valve can be recognized.
The container a has automatic air inlet and outlet valves b at different heights and a connection c to the water pipe, and is placed as possible on the highest point of the waterway area. A useful valve is shown in Fig. 2 in cross section. Here, a glass ball f is attached in the housing e, which has freedom of movement. The falling of the ball f and thus the opening of the valve is caused by the drop in the water level, in that the rubber ball da closing the fine opening g is released.
Assume that bin a is partially empty. Leave the air valves b
depending on their attachment to the container and depending on its filling, the outside air in
enter the container. Let water flow to the container now. This serves
the air as a cushion, as it can only escape through the small opening g of the housing e
can. When the water level reaches the height of the next air valve, it closes
automatically from until after the top air valve closes the air in the upper one
Part of the container a continues to act as an air cushion and the shocks when interrupted
Water withdrawal further balances. The size of the air cushion is determined by off or
Adjusting the valves matched.
