Auffangtrichter. Das Kennzeichen der Erfindung besteht darin, daß auf der Innenseite
des Kesseldeckels am Rande einer verschließbaren Öffnung eine diese Öffnung unten

und zwischen ihrem Rand und der Kesselwand einen Spalt zra zum Herabfallen von Kohle

Soll die Einrichtung benutzt werden, so setzt man das Fallrohr e des
Auffangtrichters a, auf die Öffnung k des Deckels g. Alsdann schiebt man
Kessel und Auffangtrichter so weit gegen den Backofen, bis sich der Trichter dicht
an die Türöffnung b anschließt. Bei dem nun folgenden Herausnehmen von Holzkohle
und Asche gelangt beides auf den Auffangtrichter a und fällt durch das Fallrohr
desselben auf die Zunge 1. Diese leitet die Kohle und Asche nach der Kesselwand,
längs welcher beides unter geringer Stauhaufwirbelung herunterfällt. Die Zunge 1
verhütet nun ein Aufsteigen des Staubes aus dem Kessel in das Fallrohr des Auffangtrichters.
Sollten immerhin einzelne Staubteilchen den Weg in den Auffangtrichter finden, so
«-erden sie zusammen mit allfällig vorn Auffangteil a1 aufsteigenden Aschen- oder
Staubteilchen durch den Zug im Backofen in den letzteren abgesaugt, so daß ein staubfreies
