Description

Universalwalzwerk zum Auswalzen von Hohlkörpern. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Universalwalzwerk zum Auswalzen von Hohlkörpern und besteht im wesentlichen darin, daß die Walzen gallig oder doppelkegelförmig ausgestaltet sind. Die bisher zum Auswalzen von Hohlkörpern gebräuchlichen, mit zylindrischen glatten Walzen versebenen Universalwalzwerke weisen den Nachteil auf, daß zur Herstellung des Fertigproduktes eine große Anzahl von Stichen erforderlich ist, wodurch ganz erhebliche Anlage- und Betriebskosten bedingt werden. Man ist stets bestrebt gewesen, eine Herabminderung der Kaliberanzahl zu erzielen, doch sind alle diesbezüglichen Versuche bisher vergeblich gewesen. Es wurde nun gefunden, daß dem erwähnten Nachteil dadurch in Wirksamer Weise abgeholfen werden kann, daß man an Stelle der bisher gebräuchlichen zylindrischen glatten Walzen gallige oder doppelkegelförmig gestaltete Walzen verwendet. Diese Walzen bringen den großen Vorteil mit sich, daß sie bei jedem Stich möglichst weit bis zur gewünschten Wandstärke vordringen, so d-aß man mit weniger Kalibern als bisher auf den gleichen Querschnitt kommen kann. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß man unter Verwendung der neuen Walzen im Universalwalzwerk das Fertigprodukt bereits in drei und sogar in zwei Kalibern erzielen kann. Die Folge hiervon ist, daß man weniger Walzgerüste braucht, wodurch die Anlage- und Betriebskosten ganz erheblich herabgemindert werden. Beiliegende Zeichnung stellt zwei Ausführungsformen der Erfindung Beispielswiese dar, und zwar veranschaulicht Abb. i bis 3 die Verwendung galliger Walzen, Abb. q. und 5 die Verwendung doppelkegelförmiger Walzen.Universal rolling mill for rolling out hollow bodies.
