Während die Flasche gefüllt wird, kann der Hebel Q entweder durch die Hand oder mittelst einer Sperrvorrichtung gehalten werden. Ist die Flasche gefüllt, so wird der Hebel Q nach abwärts und nach der betreffenden Seite gedreht, um die Flasche frei zu lassen. Diese wird dann rasch weggenommen; zu gleicher Zeit der Draht aus dem Loche H* im Pfropfen herausgezogen, wodurch der Pfropfen sofort einen dichten Verschlufs der Flaschenmündung herstellt. Damit jener Draht beim Entfernen der gefüllten Flasche herausgenommen werden kann, ist er an einem kreisrunden Metallkopfe R befestigt, in dessen Umfang sich eine Nuth für eine Sperrklinke »S befindet, die in dieselbe eintritt, den Kopf R zurückhält und verhindert, dafs derselbe, wenn die Flasche weggenommen wird, mit herabgezogen werde.
