Description
Stehender Heizrohrkessel. Die Erfindung betrifft einen stehenden Heizrohrkessel, bei dem die Strömungsrichtung der die Heizrohre durchziehenden heißen Gase je nach Erfordernis änderbar ist. Diese Änderbarkeit der Zugrichtung erweist sich besonders dann erforderlich, wenn der Kessel für die wechselweise Beheizung mit Ab- und Nutzgasen verwendbar sein soll. Zu diesem Zwecke sind die Heizrohre mittels einer im Gaszuführungsraum umlegbar angeordneten Scheidewand in zwei Bündel unterteilbar und die in dem Kessel eingehängte Gasdurchleitungskammer durch einen Deckel mit zeitweilig freilegbarer Abzugsöffnung abgeschlossen. Je nach der Art der den Kessel durchziehenden Gase ist die Scheidewand im Zuführungsraum aufgerichtet oder umgelegt und dementsprechend die Abzugsöffnung in dem Deckel der Durchleitungskammer geschlossen oder freigelegt. Bei aufrecht stehender Wand und geschlossener Abzugsöffnung werden die Heizrohre von den Gasen nacheinander, dagegen bei umgelegter Wand und geöffneter Abzugsöffnung gleichzeitig und gleichgerichtet durchströmt. Die Durchströmung im letzteren Sinne wird immer nur dann in Anwendung gebracht, wenn dies im Interesse einer Verminderung des Kesselwiderstandes geboten ist.Vertical heating tube boiler. Die Kammer ist zweckmäßig mit einer Chamotteauskleidung d2 versehen und ihr von außen her frei zugänglicher Deckel d3 abnehmbar eingerichtet. Der Kammerdeckel ist mit einem .Abzugsrohr g mit Verschlußklappe 1a versehen, welche letztere mit der im Gaszuführungsraum befindliche Scheidewand b zweckmäßig in zwangläufiger Verbindung steht, so daß ihre Bewegungen gleichzeitig erfolgen.
