Abstract

In the case of a tool for grasping a hollow article blow moulded in a blow moulding machine, for further conveying it to a succeeding station, the aim is to carry out the retooling to a different mould rapidly and with simple means. For this purpose, a removal mandrel is proposed, which can be introduced into the neck orifice of the hollow article, can be subjected to compressed air and has a sleeve element which is covered with a jacket of elastomeric material. On compressed-air supply, the compressed air passes below the jacket and expands it elastically until the jacket comes to bear against the inner wall of the neck orifice, and a firm connection is thus formed between the hollow article and grasping mandrel. The removal mandrel is exchangeably attached, by means of a quick-closure coupling of a known kind, to a carrier head, by means of which the removal mandrel with the hollow article can be transported to a succeeding station.

Damit ist der Hohlkörper 12 erfaßt und kann durch eine vom Trägerkopf 3 durchgeführte Hub­ bewegung und eine anschließende Translationsbewegung zu einer Folgestation, beispielsweise einem Transportband weitergeför­ dert werden. Nach dem Absetzen des Hohlkörpers 12 an der Folge­ station wird der Erfassungsdorn 1 drucklos geschaltet, worauf die Druckluft aus dem Hülsenelement 6 entweicht und der Mantel wieder auf der Außenfläche der Hülse 8 zur Auflage kommt. Die Verbindung des Erfassungsdorns 1 mit dem Hohlkörper 12 ist da­ mit gelöst und der Erfassungsdorn kann zur Ausgangsstation zu­ rückkehren. Claims (2)

1. Werkzeug zur Erfassung eines in einer Blasformmaschine ge­ blasenen flaschenartigen Hohlkörpers in dessen Halsbereich, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Werk­ zeug aus einem mit Druckluft beaufschlagbaren Erfassungsdorn (1) besteht, der mittels einer Schnellschließkupplung (2) bekannter Art an einen Druckluft führenden Trägerkopf (3) anschließbar ist und der in die Halsöffnung des Hohlkörpers (12) einführbar ist, wobei der Entnahmedorn (1) einen Mantel (9) aus elastomerem Material aufweist, der sich durch Druck­ luftbeaufschlagung aufweitet und an der Innenwandung der Halsöffnung des Hohlkörpers (12) anlegt.1.
