Schlußlaterne für Fahrräder, Motorräder, Fahrzeuge u. dgl. An Fahrrädern, Motorrädern oder sonstigen Fahrzeugen hat man vielfach am hinteren Ende Schlußlaternen angebracht, deren Zweck es war, die betreffenden Fahrzeuge, von hinten kommenden Automobilen o. dgl., durch Reflektieren der Lichtstrahlen eben jener Automobile deutlich sichtbar zu machen und dadurch Unglücke zu verhüten, insbesondere sind Lichtreflektoren bekannt, welche aus einer gefärbten Linse bestehen, die vor einem Spiegel derart angebracht sind, daß diejenigen Lichtstrahlen, die die Linse passieren, mit roten Farbton zurückgeworfen werden. Es hat sich indessen ergeben, daß die im Handel befindlichen Arten solcher Reflektoren nur in sehr geringem Grade zweckentsprechend sind, weil sie verschiedene Übelstände haben. Es sei z. B. angeführt, daß die Linse oftmals fast eben und das Glas von einem zu starken Farbton war, so daß die Vorrichtung nur diejenigen Strahlen reflektieren konnte, die gerade auf den Spiegel geworfen wurden, und selbst diese konnten nur ganz schwach reflektiert werden, weil das Glas zu dunkelrot war.
