Description

Elektrisch beheizter Gießtopf für Setzmaschinen u. dgl. mit ebenen, die Heizkörper tragenden Außenflächen. Gegenstand der Erfindung, ist ein elektrisch beheizter Gießtopf, .der insbesondere für Setzmaschinen älter Art zum Schhielzen des Letternmetalls dient. Von den bekannten, Gießtöpfen dieser Art unterscheidet sich der Erfindungsgegenstand dadurch, daß die einzelnen Heizkörper in kurzer Zeit ausgewechselt werden können. Zu diesem Zweck ist der, wie bekannt, . ebene Außenwände aufweisende Gießtopf in Gestalt einer abgestumpften Pyramide ausgeführt und an den Kanten mit Rippen versehen, auf denen Abdeckplatten befestigt sind. Zwischen diese Abdeckplatten und dem Flächen des Gießtopfes werden von unten her die einzelnen Heizkörper eingeschoben, wobei die Befestigung durch zwischengesteckte Keile erfolgt. Um das Ein-und Ausschieben der Heizkörper zu erleichtern, ragt der Gießtopf unten aus den ihn umgebenden Mantel vor.
