The like. So far, the procedure is that
the welding electrodes of known devices on both sides of the welding object
has brought up to the welds of the latter in order to make them necessary for welding
to be able to expose mechanical pressure with simultaneous power supply. But in those cases where the workpieces
ίο größeren Umfang aufweisen, war es bisher
notwendig, die Schweißstromleiter entsprechend zu verlängern. .
vorgesehen sein können.ίο have a larger scope, it was previously necessary to lengthen the welding current conductor accordingly. . There are practical cases where, despite the extension of the current conductors with one device, not all welds can be carried out due to the complicated shape of the workpieces, since the current conductor fed in from the second side often hinders this. According to the French patent 454230 z. B. is trying to achieve further progress by using a pair of pliers-like electrodes, but this arrangement does not meet the requirements of practice in an exhaustive manner, because in the present invention it is also important that the workpieces in exactly vertical direction can be taken under pressure as little as possible of the electrode material. A pliers-like device does not offer these advantages and is also only intended for light work. The subject matter of the present invention consists essentially of a welding electrode which is guided in a straight line in the direction of the welding pressure and which can be hooked through the grid meshes. In Figs. 1 and 2 of the drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the present invention is illustrated in more detail. Fig. 3 shows the previous application. It denotes α the welding object, e.g. B. in the form of the wire mesh to be welded, the legs a to be welded together at the crossing points, b denotes an electrode attached to the welding object from one side, while c represents a hook-shaped electrode that is arranged immediately next to electrode b and through the grid meshes through so that its tip is opposite that of electrode b. The mechanical welding pressure is exerted by moving one of the electrodes b, c or both in the direction of the arrow. To weld the next crossing point, the workpiece only needs to be lifted out of the hook-shaped part of the electrode c and passed through to the next point of intersection of the next mesh. It follows from this that welding is always possible with any shape and size of the workpiece with unchanged embodiment of the electrodes 5, c, whereas according to the previously known way Fig. 3 depending on the size of the workpiece z. B. the electrode arm c has to have a corresponding length. While according to Fig. 3 the length of the conductor c is dependent on the circumference of the workpiece and the freedom of movement for the workpiece is hindered, in the subject of the invention according to Figs. 1 and 2 there is complete freedom of movement on both sides of the hook-shaped part of the electrode c and a constant length of the electrodes, which can be directly connected to the power source. It goes without saying that several pairs of electrodes b, c can be provided for the simultaneous welding of several crossing points.
B. rechteckigem Querschnitt,
verwendet werden. The subject of the invention should not only relate to a welding object designated by α , but it is also important to use objects of other shapes, such as. B. protective or wire baskets o. The like. To be able to weld, where it is particularly important to be independent of the electrodes and to ensure freedom of movement on one side. The drawing shows the workpiece made of material with a round cross-section. Of course, material with a different cross-sectional shape, such as B. rectangular cross-section can be used.
