Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich, auf Isolierungen für Dampfleitungsrohre u. dgl., bei denen zwischen der Isolierummantelung und dem Rohr ein Hohlraum sich befindet.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine derartige Isolierung, die-sich durch die besondere Art und Weise der Abstützung der Isolierummantelung kennzeichnet. Gemäß der Erfindung wird letztere von radial angeordneten Federn nachgiebig getragen, so daß das bekannte Einreißen und Brechen der Isolierummantelung infolge von Stoßen, Wärmeausdehnung usw. vermieden wird.

Die isolierende Ummantelung kann aus halbzylindrischen Stükken h, viertelzylindrischen oder Teilstücken eines Zylinders in beliebigen Längen bestehen. Bei der Verwendung von halbzylindrischen Stücken kommen nach zwei entgegengesetzten Richtungen verlaufende Dorne g zur Anwendung (Abb. 1, 3), auf die die Ummantslung gesetzt wird, so daß dadurch ein geschlossener Zylinder gebildet wird. Bei viertelzylindrischen oder segmentförmigen Ummantelungsstücken sind die Dorne g entsprechend radial gerichtet, so daß stets das Aufsetzen der Ummantelungsstücke auf die Dorne vorgenommen werden kann. An den Querfugen können die einzelnen Ummantelungsstücke noch, durch spitze Dübel i aus Blech o. dgl. zusammengehalten werden. Um die zylindrische Ummantelung wird alsdann ein Blechmantel k als Schutz gelegt, der durch Blechbänder lösbar zusammengehalten wird.On the pipeline, iron strips or sheet metal rings α are arranged, which are clamped in place by screws δ like clamps.
