Eine ähnlich aufgebaute Matratze allerdings statt eines Federkerns mit einem Polsterkern sowie statt der Profilkörper mit Schraubenfedern in Vertiefungen versehen, ist ebenfalls aus der US 3.310.819 bekannt. Weil die Profilkörper bei der genannten Federkernmatratze innerhalb der Federringe bzw. innerhalb der Federzwischenräume im Bereich der ganzen Höhe des Federkerns eng an den Federn aus Stabilitätsgründen anliegen, ^ ergibt sich der Nachteil, daß die Profilkörper während der Schlafbewegungen durch Reibung an den Federn beschädigt werden können.
