Claims (7)

1. Support for a lying or sitting person with a shaped support body (1, 12, 19, 22, 38) of a resilient material which rests on a shaped bearing body (2) and, when pressure (10, 18) is exerted from above, exerts on the person a stretching action (11, 17) proceeding from the pressure centre point (10, 18) to the right and the left, characterised in that the shaped support body (1, 12, 19, 22, 38) is provided with folds extending transversely to the support so that stretching of its projected length occurs in the area under pressure, and in that between the shaped support body (1, 12,19, 22, 38) and the shaped bearing body (2) movably mounted spring elements (6, 13, 14) are provided which make possible the longitudinal stretching of the shaped support body (1,12,19, 22, 38).
2. Support according to claim 1, characterised in that the shaped support body (22) of spring wire has bends which are fold-like in cross- sectional view of the body and S-shaped in plan view and are linked together or are mounted loosely next to each other.

Support according to claim 1, characterised in that the shaped bearing body formed as a slatted substructure comprises several rows of levers (38) which are pivotably linked together, connected by cross slats (26), mounted in longitudinal grooves (40) and brought into a fold-like position with a smaller leg angle by means of support springs (28), so that when a compressive force (18) is exerted on the upper joints (27) the length of the shaped bearing body is caused to stretch.
4. Support according to claim 3, characterised in that an increase in the leg angle and hence stretching of the shaped bearing body is completely or partially blocked by limitations on the angle of rotation (33) of the levers (38) and by sliding stops in the longitudinal groove (40).
5. Support according to claim 3 or 4, characterised in that the shaped bearing body comprises scissor levers (38), jointedly connected in rows, which are brought into the fold-like position by a central spring system (14) and which can be continuously adjusted as regards the spring effect by means of fixed stops (37) and sliding stops (36).
6. Support according to claim 1, characterised in that downwardly directed supports of resilient material (19, 20) are formed in one piece on the shaped support body (12).
7. Support according to claim 6, characterised in that the supports (20) are directed with an inclination towards the middle of the support.
