Abstract
A dosing device for liquids is described, wherein an inner container containing a propellant gas developing system is arranged in an outer container containing the dosing liquid in such a way that, in the operating state, the outlet opening of the inner container is above the filled dosing liquid and the outlet opening of the outer container are located in the area of the filled dosing liquid. A method for metering liquids is also specified in which propellant gas is developed in a controlled manner in a first stage and this is introduced in a controlled manner into the gas space of a closed system of a subsequent stage in such a way that, due to the pressure that is established, a metering liquid in the subsequent stage is derived therefrom is dosed directly into the desired system. Device and method have their preferred application for the continuous introduction of nutrient fluids into biological systems. In this way, controlled and safe operation over longer periods of time is possible in a simple manner.
