Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Verbesserung der bekannten Vorrichtung zum Bohren eckiger, z. B. quadratischer Löcher. Bisher wurde hierbei ein auf das Werkstück gespanntes Führungsstück für den dreikantigen Bohrstahl verwendet, dessen Ausschnitt dem zu bohrenden Loch entsprach. Die auf diese Weise gebohrten Löcher hatten aber den Nachteil, daß die Wandungen konkav geschweift waren, also keine ebenen Flächen darstellten und somit die Löcher nachgearbeitet werden mußten. Um diesen Nachteil zu vermeiden, soll nach der Erfindung ein Führungsstück verwendet werden, dessen Ausschnitt mit konvex geschweiften Wandungen versehen ist, um die vorbeschriebene Wirkung der wälzenden Bohrerarbeit, die ein schärferes Anpacken des Bohrers auf den Mittelteilen der Wandflächen bedingt, auszugleichen und somit quadratische Löcher mit scharfen Ecken und ebenen Wandflächen zu erzielen.The invention relates to an improvement of the known device for Drilling angular, e.g. B. square holes. Der Bohrer α aus Dreikantstahl ist derartig flach geschliffen, daß er das Bestreben des Verlaufene hat, d. h. ohne Spitze nur mit horizontal schneidenden Kanten. Über dem Werkstück wird das Führungsstück b derartig angebracht, daß die Führungsöffnung c über dem zu bohrenden Loch zu liegen kommt. Dann wird genau wie sonst beim Bohren verfahren. Beim Arbeiten wird der Bohrer a seitlich weggedrückt, wobei sich seine Kanten d gegen die Wandungen des Führungsloches c legen und sich dort so wälzen, daß sie in die Ecken des Führungsloches c gebracht werden und in dem Werkstück ein Loch gebohrt wird, welches dem Loch c in. dem Führungsstück δ entspricht. Das Material des Führungsstückes b wird so gewählt, daß seine Härte der Härte des Bohrstahles entspricht. Die konvexe Form der Wandungen des Ausschnittes c bewirkt dabei, daß durch das Wälzen des Bohrers .im Ausschnitt das verschieden starke Anpacken des Bohrers in den Ecken und den freien Wandflächen derart ausgeglichen wird, daß scharfeckige Löcher mit ebenen Wandflächen im Werkstück gebohrt werden.The drill α made of triangular steel is ground so flat that it has the tendency to run, ie without a point only with horizontally cutting edges.
