Method and device for pulling the wheel tires off the wheel disks.
The removal of worn wheel tires from. the wheel disks are usually made in the well-known
Wheel tire gas fire, in which the wheel tire after being hammered over the snap ring
Part of the tire and the protruding part of the snap ring is twisted off from the outside
be heated strongly so that they can be peeled off the panes. Since this
the degree of heating and the time of dissolvability cannot be precisely determined
leaves, the tire is usually overheated and consumes a lot of gas unnecessarily.
According to the present invention, the gas consumption is now to be
absolutely necessary to be limited by the tires automatically in the correct
Time to be pressed. To this end, the tire is heated while it is being heated
held and exerted a constant axial pressure on the wheel disc, so that
at the moment when the tire has expanded sufficiently, the
Wheel disc from the! Wheel tire is pushed out. Due to the resulting shift
both parts are against each other at this moment both the gas supply and
the pressure medium turned off automatically. The connection between wheel tire and wheel disc
is therefore solved in the shortest possible time with the lowest gas consumption.
Fig.
g geschlossen. The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in a vertical section (FIG. I) and in plan '(FIG. 2). FIG. 3 shows part of the section along line op in FIG. 2. In a hydraulic cylinder d, a piston b plays, behind which pressurized water is passed through the line m. The pressure water flow is regulated in the control slide housing c. Depending on the position of the handle d, the cylinder is either connected to the inlet or outlet line or completely blocked in the central position. The wheel tire is held in place by the four latches e. The piston b presses against the hub of the wheel disc. The ring-shaped gas fire f is supplied with gas through a tap g. When it is pushed out, a pin or cam h moves with the piston b, which moves the lever i and thus the levers k and l in the last part of the movement. In this way, the handle d of the control slide c is brought into the central position. The pressurized water is then shut off from the cylinder and the piston b stops. At the same time, turning the lever l closes the gas tap g.
