Maschinelle Feuerungen haben für Flammen-und Feuerrohrkessel vielfach schon versuchsweise Anwendung gefunden, kamen aber zu keiner Verbreitung, sondern wurden abgerissen, weil in Fällen, wo sie als Innenfeuerungen angeordnet waren, es sich herausstellte, daß hinsichtlich Abschlacken die Schwierigkeiten und Störungen unüberwindlich waren und ferner die Unterbringung der für eine gute Dampfleistung erforderlichen Rostflächen, namentlich dann, wenn minderwertige Abfallbrennstoffe in Frage kamen, nicht ermöglicht werden konnte. Waren sie aber als Vorfeuerungen vor den Kesseln angeordnet, ergaben sich zu große Wärmeverluste und derartig schnell fortschreitende Zerstörungen an den die Feuerungen umgebenden feuerfesten Gewölben, daß auch hierbei der Betrieb schnell aufgegeben werden mußte.Mechanical pre-firing for steam boilers with corrugated or boiler tubes. Grundlegend bei der Erfindung ist die gemeinschaftliche Verwendung einer maschinellen Vorfeuerung unter Zwischenschaltung eines Feuerkanals K für mehrere Kessel gleichzeitig, wobei Kesselheizer gespart werden und die Lebensfähigkeit des Vorbaues bzw. des Feuerkanals durch Kühlung mit kalter Luft, die nach Bestreichen der heißen Wandungen wieder unter den Rosten oder anderweitig wirtschaftlich ausgenutzt werden soll, ermöglicht wird. Nach derZeichnung ist für je drei Kessel nur ein Doppelrost vorgesehen.
