Abstract

The guide-cord plate serves as a technical aid, in particular in masonry work, achieving the effect of keeping a row of bricks always at a continuous height and in a straight line by two threaded bolts being welded on at the distance of the standardised brick height + mortar on a zinc plate bent in such a way as to have legs of unequal length; a guide-cord plate is placed on the first brick and on the last brick of a row and the masonry cord is secured over the threaded bolts by screwing on knurled nuts. When laying bricks, the same distance from the guide cord must be constantly maintained. The guide-cord plate can also be used simultaneously for two rows of bricks.

Description
