Vereinigte Rücktritt- und Handbremse. Die Erfindung betrifft . eine
vereinigte Rücktritt- und Handhebelbremse für Fahrräder u. dgl. und besteht gegenüber
den bekannten Anordnungen dieser Art darin, daß die Handbremse auf den Bremskonus
der Rücktrittbremse in der Weise einwirkt, daß sie ihn in Richtung der Wirkung der
Rücktrittbremse in den Bremsmantel hineinzieht. Eine solche Anordnung weist (gegenüber
einer bekannten Anordnung, bei der der eine Konus der Bremse durch Rücktritt, der
andere von Hand achsial verschoben wird) neben ihrer Einfachheit den Vorteil auf,
daß bei gleichzeitiger Betätigung beider Bremsen die Wirkungen beider sich in Hinsicht

und dadurch die Spreizung desselben bewirkt wird. Bei der Einwärtsbewegung des Bremskonus
findet gleichzeitig ein Aufschieben des Bremsmantels auf den üblichen Hebelkonus
7 statt, so daß das Aufspreizen des Bremsmantels sich gleichmäßig vollzieht. Die
Bremsung durch die Rücktrittbremse wird im dargestellten Falle dadurch bewirkt,
daß eine mit Rauung oder Verzahnung versehene Mutterscheibe 8 in bekannter Weise
durch einen Gewindeansatz 9 des das Antriebsrad io tragenden Gewindekopfes r i gegen
den Bremskonus verschoben wird und ihn so ebenfalls in die Nabe hineindrückt. Das
Einwärtsdrücken des Bremskonus durch die Rücktrittbremse könnte auch in sonst geeigneter
