Description
The subject matter of the present invention relates to a cooking grate of the type which is mainly used in households for cooking, roasting and baking and which is used to burn the Food should be prevented. The plates previously used for this purpose Asbestos or other refractory materials have the disadvantages that they are smoother as a result Shape of the bottom of the cooking vessel rests tightly on the plates and the holes of the Plates are covered so that this prevents the heat distribution and thus the Cooking time is adversely affected.
Diese Mißstände werden durch die Erfindung behoben, und infolge der zweckmäßigeren Gestaltung des Rostes wird nicht nur eine einfachere und billigere Herstellung'desselben ermöglicht, sondern es wird auch mitThese shortcomings are remedied by the invention, and as a result of the more expedient Design of the grate will not only make it easier and cheaper to manufacture it enables, but it is also with
ao diesem eine günstigere Wärmeverteilung beim Kochen erzielt sowie eine leichtere Handhabung desselben beim Gebrauch gewährleistet und dadurch auch dessen Gebrauchsfähigkeit erhöht. ao this achieves a more favorable heat distribution during cooking and easier handling the same guaranteed during use and thereby also increases its usability.
This is achieved in that the grate consists of two with edge bars or plug pins and heat-resistant, concentrically arranged annular beads or tires Plates are made, which can be used both individually and put together can, in such a way that cavities arise between the beads or tires through which the heat is held together and more favorably distributed through in the upper Openings arranged on the plate to the cooking vessel standing on j elevations of the plate got.
In the drawing, in FIGS. 1 to 4 i, such a grate is in an execution; shape, namely show the ! Fig. Ι and 2 the plugged together grate j in cross section and in plan view, partially cut, while FIGS. 3 and 4 show the type of application of the upper part of the grate in two different positions.
In der oberen Platte a sind noch in den zwischen ihren Ringwulsten e bleibenden Bodenteilen h öffnungen 0 vorgesehen, durch welche die in denAs can be seen from this, the grate according to the invention consists mainly of two heat-resistant plates s and b, which are provided with edge webs c, d and by means of these can be plugged into one another in a known manner and are thereby held one inside the other. Furthermore, both plates a, b have a number: of concentrically arranged, per se known annular bulges' e, f, which, when plates a, b are plugged into one another, come to lie on top of one another that ring-! shaped cavities g arise. Both plat-! th α, b also have on the remaining between the I annular bulges e, f bottom ^ ■ surfaces h, i elevations k, I, whereby on the one hand i the lower plate b can be set up on the hotplate m , while on the other hand on the elevations k of the upper Plate α a cooking 1 vessel η can be placed. In the upper plate a , openings 0 are also provided in the bottom parts h remaining between their annular beads e , through which the in the
Annular cavities g emerging heat and can get to the Kockgef η.
The connection of the two plates α and b could also be made by means of pins arranged in one plate, which fit into corresponding holes in the other plate, instead of by means of the edge webs c, d. Instead of the annular bulges e, f., Tires protruding either on both plates a, b at half height or on one plate at full height could be attached, by means of which these annular cavities g are also formed. Furthermore, the squeezed out, for example, from the material increases could k, I of the two plates a, b also be replaced by the base parts · h, ι attached -Niete barren pins. Both plates α and b can be made of cast iron or any other suitable material instead of sheet metal and, due to their practical design, can be easily pushed into one another and also easily taken apart again; as a result, each plate can also be used separately as a grate.
Dadurch ist das Anbrennen besonders empfindlicher Speisen vollständig vermieden, da eine vollständig gleichmäßige und langsame Wärmezuführung zu ' dem Kochgefäße η erzielt ist. jThe use of such a grate can thus be carried out in different ways: In the first type of application, the plates α and b are plugged together so that their annular beads e, f touch each other and thus annular cavities g are formed (FIGS. 1 and 2). If the grate that has been put together in this way with the unperforated plate b is placed on the hotplate m or a hotplate and the cooking vessel η is placed on the elevations k of the upper perforated plate α, the heat to be supplied to the cooking vessel η is distributed, since as a result of the use of the two Plated plates α and b from the annular cavities g through the holes 0 only to the extent that intense heat is given off to the cooking vessel η standing on the elevations k , as it covers the openings 0 of the cooking grate upper part α. In this way, the burning of particularly sensitive foods is completely avoided, since a completely uniform and slow supply of heat to the cooking vessel η is achieved. j
Another application, where the upper j grate α is removed, could consist in that the vessels are placed on the lower grate part b, which can be supported either with its elevations I or with its edge web d on the hotplate m i can be set up on the bulges f j or on the floor surfaces i , L whereby a very slow cooking is possible! is guaranteed.
Further, the upper grate plate A can be used by itself, in such a way that they c with its edge web on: Stove m placed and on their increases k the cooking vessel is placed η (Fig. 3). As a result, the heat due to the lack of the lower plate b is fed directly to the cooking vessel η through the holes 0 of the upper plate α, and this results in a more intensive irradiation of the cooking vessel η bej. This type of application of the grate a, b . l is particularly suitable for gas cookers, as this means that the radiant heating flames of the burner are distributed over the annular bulges e and at the openings 0 in the form of small ; Escape flames, the bottom of the. Elevated on the plate α cooking vessel η due to the distance between the bottom of the vessel and the plate α experiences a direct irradiation from the puncture flames. ; This ensures that the food can be cooked in a relatively short time and still prevents burning.
Finally, the top plate may reach a the grate nor otherwise used alone by this so-m to the .Herdplatte. Or the cooker is placed that their annular collars e upwards (Fig. 4). If the cooking vessel η is now placed on the plate α , it comes to stand on the bulges e and covers the plate α in such a way that ring-shaped grooves with the holes 0 downwards arise under its bottom, which means that the heating flames do not come off due to the lack of air access can develop into stitch flames and the heat is held together. With this type of application, very slow cooking is achieved and the food does not burn.
In this grate is therefore a domestic one Auxiliary device created, which is due to its functional design in can be used in various ways and also a more favorable heat distribution and thus ensuring a better mode of operation when utilizing the heating gases.
