Steering device for single-axle 1Vlotord bogies. It is known,
two-wheeled motor bogies that have a differential to steer thereby,
that one or the other wheel is braked. Is the differential gear centric
arranged on the axle and immediately next to a drive wheel, so makes the attachment
braking difficulties as they have to exert a considerable amount of force.
The subject of the present invention is a similar steering device, but which allows a particularly convenient installation. and at the same time it makes it possible to act differently on the two wheels, which is a considerable advantage in certain cases. In Fig: z and a, an embodiment of the invention is shown with that design of the transmission in which the new arrangement offers particular advantages. a and b are the drive wheels of the motorized bogie. - s is the steering axis and t is the frame that connects the motorized bogie with the other parts of the vehicle, e.g. B. the plow part of a motor plow connects. c is the motor which is mounted on the frame l of the bogie. It transmits its power through the bevel gear d and the pinion e to the differential gear f, which carries the planetary gears g. The gear wheel h -ein, which sits firmly on the hub of the drive wheel a -sits into the planetary gears from the outside. The gear wheel i engages from the inside in the epicyclic gears, which is firmly seated on the shaft k, which is rotatably mounted in the frame l and on which the wheel a runs loosely, the wheel b is stuck. On the shaft P of the pinion e is loosely rotatably m the chain sprocket. This is by a drive chain in conjunction with the fixed k on the shaft of the drive wheel b seated sprocket n .. The sprocket m can be either by pressing the sliding clutch canoes o against the cone q are coupled to the shaft P or braked by the fact that. the cone o is pressed against the cone y attached to the frame l. In the first case, the drive wheel b is driven by bypassing the differential at a speed determined by the transmission ratio m to n; in the latter case, the wheel b is braked through the intermediary of the chain drive nm.
If the transmission ratio m-n is chosen so that the thereby
The achieved number of revolutions of the driving wheel b is as large as it would be, If that
Drive wheel a would be held and as a result of the differential effect the drive wheel b
would be driven forward with a correspondingly increased number of revolutions, so must through
Coupling the pinion m to the shaft P has the same effect as braking
of the drive wheel a can be achieved. If you wanted the same effect by braking the bike
a, the brake would have to be very far outside with the selected gear arrangement
of the frame l 'and it would require a heavy construction
be. In contrast, the new device enables a light, compact arrangement.
It is also not necessary to select the transmission ratio m to n so that at
perfect, non-grinding .clutch of m with p the drive wheel a on the spot
is held. The force required to steer around the wheel a can thereby be achieved
reduce that one chooses the transmission ratio m to n smaller, so that at
perfect clutch the IM @ is driven relatively slower
will
and the steering therefore takes place around a point lying outside the wheel a.
