Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Überwachen des Füllzustandes von Vor ratsbehältern unter Verwendung einer optischen Abtastvorrichtung mit einer Licht quelle und einem optoelektronischen Schaltglied für Waschmaschinen mit Vorratsbe hältern, aus deren Vorratsbehältern Waschmittel bzw. Spülmittel in flüssiger Form, gesteuert durch ein Programmsteuerwerk, dem Wasch- bzw. Bedeutsam für die Funktionsfähigkeit dieser bekannten Anordnung ist die Brechungszahl der zu erfassenden Flüssigkeit im Ver hältnis zur Brechungszahl des Lichtleiters. Die Wandung des Vorratsbehälters 1 ist lichtdurchlässig. Damit be steht in Form einer Lichtschranke eine optische Verbindung zwischen der Lichtquelle 5 und dem optoelektronischen Schaltelement 6. Ist der Flüssigkeitsspiegel des Wasch-Hilfsmittels 2 auf das gestrichelt dargestellte Niveau 8 abgesunken, so ge langt die von der Lichtquelle 5 in Richtung auf das optoelektronische Schaltglied 6 abgestrahlte Energie lediglich durch die Wandung 7 des Vorratsbehälters 1 gemindert auf das optoelektronische Schaltelement 6. Übersteigt aber der Flüssigkeitsspiegel des Wasch-Hilfsmittels 2 die optische Linie zwischen der Lichtquelle 5 und optoe lektronischem Schaltelement 6, so wird ein wesentlicher Anteil der von der Licht quelle 5 ausgestrahlten Energie von dem flüssigen Wasch-Hilfsmittel 2 absorbiert. Das optoelektronische Schaltglied 6 wird somit wesentlich geringer bestrahlt. Die Lichtquelle 5 strahlt insbesondere Energie im Infrarot-Spektrum aus und das optoe lektronische Schaltelement 6 ist für dieses Strahlungsspektrum optimiert. Damit wird auch bei Verwendung von relativ klarer Wasch-Hilfsmittel-Flüssigkeit 2 eine gut auswertbare Absorption der abgestrahlten Energie in dieser Flüssigkeit erreicht.The embodiment shows only a device for a single storage container 1 for liquid washing aid 2 and its evaluation circuit. Damit steigt die Steuer spannung über die Referenzspannung an und der Ausgang des Operationsverstärkers 9 nimmt einen Wert an, welcher den Schalttransistor 10 durchlässig steuert. Die Leuchtdiode 11, welche als optische Signalanzeige dient, wird damit mit Strom be aufschlagt und zeigt durch ihr Leuchten den Mangel an genügendem Wasch-Hilfsmit tel 2 im Vorratsbehälter 1 an. Ist dagegen zwischen der Leuchtdiode 5 und dem Fototransistor 6 flüssiges Waschhilfsmittel 2 vorhanden, so wird die Steuerbasis des Fototransistors 6 abgedunkelt und somit der Fototransistor 6 hochohmig. Die Steuer spannung für den Operationsverstärker 9 sinkt damit unter die Referenzspannung ab. Zweckmäßig ist es auch, nicht erst den tatsächlichen Mangel von flüssigem Wasch-Hilfsmittel 2 im Vorratsbehälter anzuzeigen sondern bereits den sich ankündigenden Mangel zu signalisieren.
