^Schneckenzaun zur gleichzeitigen Vernichtung von Schnecken^ Snail fence for the simultaneous destruction of snails
The invention relates to a snail fence for the simultaneous ^ destruction of snails (as a garden or garden bed fence :. to protect the plants in it from snail infestation) The present invention is intended to serve as an obstacle to the snail on the one hand and to destroy it on the other.
Zur bisherigen Schneckenbekämpfung sind folgende Mittel bekannt:To date, the following means are known for combating snails:
Ί A) Schneckenkorn ( Schneckengift ) Ί A) slug pellets (snail poison)
l_ B) Bier falle ( In das Erdreich eingegrabene Behälter mit Bier ) l _ B) Beer trap (containers with beer buried in the ground)
C) StreusalzC) road salt
D) Elektrischer Schneckenzaun ( Batceriestrom )D) Electric snail fence (Batceriestrom)
Slug pellets and beer traps are bait traps, that is, the snail; {* "} Is enticed r and either dursh the poison, or destroyed by Ertrin- ken road salt causes a mucilage of Quick · cks, dried au and dies & Electrical worm |;.. Serves fence as a mechanical obstacle These pesticides. , however, represent only a temporary protection of the plants against j snail attack, since they have to be used again and again with the exception of point -D- (slug pellets / beer trap and road salt j are washed out by rain) , the snails are also lured j.
The invention is based on the idea of creating a system len that the snail on the one hand as an obstacle, and when overcoming from this leads to your annihilation. This should also include a * No bait odor in the form of an attractant.

Kunststoff/ Beton/ Steingut/ Ziegelton u.s.w.This object is achieved according to the invention by a mountable snail fence according to claims 1, 2 and 3 / which is included in the Is plugged into the ground. The snail fence contains a surrounding shell to absorb snail poison (road salt). This encircling The bowl has a rain cover / to prevent the destruction agent from being washed out. The snail now has to / wants it reach the plant bed / through the surrounding bowl {road salt >. Due to the contact with the road salt, it becomes slimy before it is able to overcome the obstacle / i.e. it falls off the inner curve of the rain roof. Before installing the fence, however, the ones in the ground must be installed Slugs are removed. This is achieved by dousing the soil with hot water (50-60 C °) that the snails drives out. After they have been removed, the snail fence can be installed. All weatherproof ones are used for production Materials like. Plastic / concrete / earthenware / brick clay etc.
The advantages achieved with the invention are that this system contains a combination of control measures. £ Obstacle and destruction when overcoming / elimination of bait.) The snail is not additionally attracted by attractants lured.
Figure 1 shows the basic structure of the snail's tail. (1) provides a single element with a surrounding shell (4) for receiving the snail poison (road salt) is / which is connected to the corner elements (3) by a groove (6) and tongue (5). (3) is a complete corner element in which the rain canopy and the surrounding shell are integrated. On the individual elements (1) the rain canopy (2) is put on again by means of a tongue and groove connection.
The snail fence should be 15 to 20 cm into the ground for installation be plugged.
