Description

Process for producing spinnable fibers. Not that easily spinnable fibers of certain plants. such as B. of the distillate flowers, are already used for spinning purposes; this also makes short fibers spinnable Threads united, that binders were used and thus created the possibility of longer ones To get threads. Meanwhile the previous efforts related only to to cement the fibers together to remove the waste resulting from spinning better to utilize. According to the present invention, however, are easily non-spinnable fibers of the maize pen are thereby connected to form spinnable thread structures, that the individual fibers, after they have been assimilated, with a colloidal one Binding agent, namely the spinning solution used to produce the rayon, which not only cement the fibers together, but also them at the same time gives a coating and a smoothing. It can be advantageous here Compression pressure are used, which intimately fuses the binder and fibers. A thread produced in this way has all the properties required for spinning and removes the brittleness and fragility of natural fibers. The binder Artificial silk spinning material thus forms a covering agent at the same time. It is by it too possible to make the artificial silk cheaper. The thickness and width can be arbitrary be chosen so that z. B. a band-like structure is created by rolling. It, you can even create wide webs, with the fiber mass also being felted can. At the same time, the cover mass increases the resistance to the effects of moisture increase. The fibers can of course be opened up, bleached, dye or otherwise chemically treat in any other suitable manner according to known methods. Depending on the strength of the fibers obtained in this way, they can also be used as a substitute for hair, Bristles etc. are used.

Claim: A method for producing spinnable fibers using a binder, characterized in that corn pens are combined with the spinning solution used for rayon production in such a way that the spinning solution cemented the fibers and at the same time forms a covering agent for them.
