Sie stellt sich und löst die Aufgabe, die zur selbsttätigen Ansaugung der Luft dienenden Organe (Ventile, Schieber o. dgl.) nach außen und leicht zugänglich anzuordnen und außerdem die Verbindungsorgane für die Kolben oder Kappen einerseits mit den festen Drehpunkten anderseits so einzurichten, daß sie jedenfalls während der Verdichtungsperiode stets auf Zug beansprucht sind..
