Dichtungsmaterial. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 21. August 1917 ab.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Dichtungsmaterial in Platten, Rahmen, Ringen u. dgl.
Das Dichtungsmateria! besteht im wesentlichen, aus imprägnierter Rohpappe oder Rohfilzpappe
und die Erfindung besteht darin, daß diese Pappe mit teerfreien bituminösen Stoffen getränkt
wird. Um eine erhöhte Sicherheit gegen überhitzten Dampf zu erzielen, empfiehlt
es sich, das Material in an sich bekannter Weise mit Graphit durchzuwalken bzw. zu versetzen.
Das in Frage stehende Dichtungsmaterial soll nicht nur für technische Zwecke, sondern auch
für hauswirtschaftliche Zwecke als Dichtungsringe für Konservengläser Verwendung finden.
In diesem Falle empfiehlt es sich, durch Kochen die Geschmacksstoffe aus dem Material zu entfernen.

- Patent-Anspruch:Dichtungsmaterial aus imprägnierter Rohpappe oder Rohfilzpappe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Pappe mit teerfreien bituminösen Stoffen getränkt ist.BERLIN. GEDRUCKT IN BER REICHSDRUCKEREU
