Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
The present invention relates to 'such locks, in which the under spring pressure locking latch or the trap after opening by means of a nut in a liner is held, so that now only the beveled part of the bolt head over the lock faceplate protrudes and the bolt act as a trap when the door is closed kannr The invention consists in that the trap or the bolt after it has been withdrawn and after it has been released the nut is held halfway through the fact that the bolt is directly on the Nut arm catches and gets stuck with this.
- There is one on the drawing, for example Embodiment of the interior of a door lock designed according to the invention illustrated.
Fig. Ι shows the closed position of the lock, in which the bolt l is secured by a pawl.
Fig. 3 zeigt eine Zwischenlage, in welche die Teile selbsttätig zurücktreten, wenn der Schlüssel freigegeben wird.: Fig. 2 is the open position obtained by turning back of the key is brought about. Fig. 3 shows an intermediate layer in which the parts withdraw automatically when the key is released.
Fig. 4 zeigt den in offener Lage gesperrten Schloßriegel.Fig. 4 shows the bolt locked in the open position.
Der Riegel steht dann in einer Zwischenlage (Fig. 3), in welcher nur der abgeschrägte TeilThe lock bolt 1 is connected to a plate 2, the front edge 3 of which rests against the bolt head and the rear end of which is provided with a shoulder 4 perpendicular to the bolt, the latter being designed as a hook 5 at its upper end. The bolt is designed so that it can be reversed and used in a known manner for either right or left side locks, and the reversal of the bolt is effected simply by releasing the bolt from the plate 2, its shoulder 4 and hook 5 remain in unchangeable position e. In the lock case, a pawl 6 is rotatably mounted above the bolt, the hook-shaped end 7 of which cooperates with an A * set 3 1 of the plate 2 to lock the bolt in its end positions. This pawl 6 is also provided with a shoulder 8 which protrudes into the path of the upper end 10 of the nut arm 9 so that the pawl 6 can be lifted by means of the arm 9 of the nut 1 to release the bolt. The nut arm 9 is also provided with a projection 11 which rests against the shoulder 4 of the plate 2 when the nut arm is rotated and moves the bolt backwards from the closed position into the open position (FIG. 2). When the bolt then tries to move outwards into the closed position under the influence of a spring, the projection 11 slides upwards along the shoulder 4 until it comes into engagement with the hook 5 formed at the end of the shoulder. The bolt is then in an intermediate position (Fig. 3) in which only the beveled part
Schloßkasten herausreicht (Fig. i).
(Fig. 2).
the same protrudes from the lock case. In the closed position, the bolt protrudes so far that a flat part (parallel to the direction of movement of the bolt) extends out of the lock case (FIG. I). The JSiußarm is also provided with a lug 12, which is in the way of a lever 13 which can be turned by means of the key 14. This lever is usually secured by tumblers 15. The moving parts of the lock are in a known manner under the influence of springs. When the bolt assumes its outermost closed position, it is blocked by the front end of the pawl 6, which rests against the shoulder 3 1 of the plate 2 (FIG. 1). If. the key is turned to open the lock, it presses against the lever 13, which then acts on the nut arm 9, so that the latter lifts the pawl 6 and unlocks the bolt. If the nut arm 9 is rotated further, the projection '11 of the same moves the bolt backwards into the open position (Fig. 2). When the key is then released, the bolt is driven outward by its spring and takes the nut arm with it, the projection 11 of which then slides along the shoulder 4 until it engages with the hook 5, after which the further outward movement of the bolt is inhibited will. The bolt now assumes the above-mentioned intermediate position (Fig. 3), in which only its inclined part protrudes outside the lap box, the inclined surface being in such a position that the bolt snaps into place when the door is opened. During this movement of the bolt, the nut arm is first rotated backwards a little until it has come so far that its projection 11 comes out of engagement with the hook 5, whereupon it moves forward under the influence of its spring until the projection 12 of the nut arm 9 strikes against lever 13. At the same time, the bolt is pushed forward under the influence of its spring and assumes its final closed position shown in FIG.
If the door is to remain unlocked, the bolt 1 is pulled back into the position shown in FIG. 2 by turning the key 14 or a handle connected to the inside of the nut. But before the key or handle is released, the bolt is pushed in by hand (see dash-dotted position of the bolt in Fig. 4) until the hook-shaped end 7 of the pawl falls in front of the approach 3 1 of the plate. In this further insertion of the bolt, an approach 18 of the plate 2 acts as a limit stop for the nut - 60 arm 9, if this should turn forward under the pressure of his .Feder before the pawl hook when the key or the handle is released too early ■ has detected the approach 3 1 (see dotted position of the approach 18 in Fig. 4). The projection 18 thus prevents the outer end 10 of the nut arm from swinging forwards under the latch nose 8 and reaching the left side of the nose 8 while the bolt is being pushed in. If, after the pawl 6, 7 has collapsed before the approach 3 1 , the push-in pressure of the hand on the bolt head stops, the bolt moves out of the dot-dash position in FIG which he is then held in place by the pawl that has now been latched into place. The outer end ϊο of the nut arm must be held by means of the handle in the position illustrated in Fig. 4 or in a position to the right of this, while the projection 18 by the small distance by which the "bolt has moved forward again-from the nut arm is moved to the left (see the position of the projection 18 indicated by full lines in FIG. 4) / whereby the clearance between the nut arm and the bolt attachment 18 necessary for the later closing of the bolt is created The nut arm, which wants to turn to the left under the action of its stronger spring, is by a suitably selected undercut of the engaging surfaces of the lug'3 1 and the ratchet hook 7, which are held in secure engagement with one another by the spring influencing the bolt, and by a Appropriately chosen course of the curve of the lower edge of the pawl made impossible is to be closed, the nut arm is turned to the left by means of a key or handle, so that the pawl 6 is raised and the bolt is unlocked and pushed into the closed position by its spring. The last-mentioned movement of the nut arm must be done forwards, ie to the left in FIG. 4, because the nut arm 9 came to stand under the projection 8 when the bolt was pushed in; the nut arm is thus prevented from coming into engagement with the hook 5 and stopping the bolt in its intermediate position, which could easily happen if the bolt arm were instead to be moved to the right ^.
So z. The invention can of course be varied in various ways with regard to its construction will. So z. B. the plate 2 can be omitted if the shoulder 4 and the Hook 5 can be arranged directly on the bolt. This could easily be replaced by such a Extension of the support that extends between the walls of the lock case
Wenn die Platte 2 in der beschriebenen Weise weggelassen wird, ist die Klinke 6 natürlich derart angeordnet, daß sie mit einem, unmittelbar am Riegel selbst angeordneten Ansatz oder Haken zusammenwirkt.and guide piece τη are effected that the same is equipped with protruding hooks 5 'forming projections on both sides of the bolt in order to be able to turn the bolt. The projection 11 on the nut arm will then of course slide along the inside of the support piece 17 until it finally engages the hook 5, which is directed such that it can cooperate with the projection. If the plate 2 is omitted in the manner described, the pawl 6 is of course arranged in such a way that it cooperates with a projection or hook arranged directly on the bolt itself.
