Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue 1,3,2-Dioxaphospholane,
deren Herstellung und Verwendung als Schmiermittelzusätze, sowie die mit den neuen Verbindungen ausgerüsteten Schmierölformulierengen.
Mineralischen und synthetischen Schmierstoffen werden im allgemeinen
verschiedene Zusatzstoffe zur Verbesserung ihrer Gebrauchseigenschaften beigegeben. Insbesondere besteht ein Bedarf an Additiven,
welche die zu schmierenden Vorrichtungen vor Reibungsabnutzung schützen
sollen. An solche Verschleissinhibitoren wird die Anforderung gestellt, dass sie das Lasttragevennögen des Schmierstoffs erhöhen und nicht
korrodierend auf die zu schützenden Metallteile wirken. Aus den US Pat. 3,192,162 und 3,682,819 ist es bekannt, cyclische Phosphorverbindungen
als Schmierölzusätze zu verwenden. Ferner sind aus der ΓΞ-OS 2,802,756
Stoffgemische bekannt, welch·! ebenfalls cyclische Phosphorverbindungen
als Schuiierölzusätze enthalten können.
Es wurde nun eine neue Klasse substituierter 1,3,2-Dioxaphospholane
gefunden, die al« "ashless additives" eine ausgezeichnete Wirksamkeit
als Hochdruck-Zusätze für Schmiermittel entfalten.

Eine Alternativmethode zur Herstellung der Verbindungen der Formel I bietet sich mit der Umsetzung der Verbindungen der Formel V

Umsetzung der Reaktionsprodukte mit einer Verbindung der Formel IV an. In den auf diese Weise erhaltenen Produkten der Formel I
bedeutet m 1 und die übrigen Symbole haben die oben angegebene Bedeutung .
Die Verbindungen der Formeln IV und VI sind bekannt, oder können, falls sie noch neu sind, auf analoge Weise hergestellt
werden. Neue Zwischenprodukte der Formel IV und VI stellen daher auch einen Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung dar.
Sine Isolierung aller Zwischenprodukte ist nicht notwendig.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I wirken schon in sehr geringen Mengen als Hochdruck-Zusätze in Schmiermitteln. So zeigen mineralische
und synthetische Schmieröle, sowie deren Gemische, welche mit 0,001 bis 5 Gew.-% bezogen auf das Schmiermittel, und vorzugsweise 0,02 bis
3% einer Verbindung der Formel I ausgestattet sind, ausgezeichnete Hochdruck-Schmiereigenschaften, welche durch stark reduzierte Abnutzungserscheinungen
der zu schmierenden Reibpartner deutlich werden. Die in Frage kommenden Schmiermittel sind dem Fachmann geläufig und
z.B. im "Schmiermittel Taschenbuch" (Hüthig Verlag, Heidelberg, 1974) beschrieben.

Die Schmierölformulierung kann zusätzlich noch andere Additive enthalten, die zugegeben werden, um gewisse Grundöleigenschaften zu
verbessern, wie Antioxidantien, Metallpassivatoren, Rostinhibitoren, Viskositätsindex-Verbesserer, Stockpunkterniedriger, Dispersants/
Detergents und andere Verschleissschutz-Additive.
Beispiele für Antioxidantien sind:
(a) Alkylierte und nicht-alkylierte aromatische Amine und Mischungen
davon, z.B.:
Dioctyldiphenylamin, Mono-t-octylphenyl-a- und -ß-naphthylamine,
Phenothiazin, Dioctylphenothiazin, Phenyl-a-naphthylamin, N,N'-Di-sec-
butyl-p-phenylendiamin.
(b) Sterisch gehinderte Phenole, z.B. 2,6-Di-tert-butyl-p-cresol,
4,4l-Bis-(2,6-diisopropylphenol), 2,4,6-Triisopropylphenol, 2,2'-Thio-bis-(4-methyl-6-tert-butyl-phenol),
4,4'-Methylen-bis-(2,6-di-tertbuty!phenol).
(c) Alkyl-, Aryl- oder Alkaryl-phosphite, z.B.: Trinonylphosphit, Triphenylphosphit, Diphenyldecylphosphit.
(d) Ester von Thiodipropionsäure oder Thiodiessigsäure, z.B.: Dxlaurylthiodipropxonat oder Dioctylthiodiacetat.
(e) Salze von Carbamin- und Dithiophosphor-säuren, z.B.: Antimon-diamyldithiocarbamat, Zink-diamyldithiophosphat.
(f) Kombinationen von zwei oder.mehr Antioxidantion der obigen, z.B.:
ein alkyliertes Amin und ein sterisch gehindertes Phenol. Beispiele für Metallpassivatoren sind:
(a) für Kupfer, z.B. Benzotriazol, Tetrahydrobenzotriazol, 2-Mercaptobenzothiazol, 2,5-Dimercaptothiadiazol, Salicylidenpropylendiamin,
Salze von Salicylaminoguanidin.
(b) für Blei, z.B. Sebacinsäurederivate, Chinizarin, Propylgallat,
(c) Kombination von zwei oder mehr der obigen Additive.
Beispiele für Rost-Inhibitoren sind:
(a) Organische Säuren, ihre Ester, Metallsalze und Anhydride, z.B.:

(e) Kombinationen von zwei oder mehr der obigen Additive.
Beispiele für Viskositätsindex-Verbesserer sind z.B.:
Polymethacrylate, Vinylpyrrolidon/Methacrylat-Copolymere, Polybutene,
Olefin-Copolymere, S tyrol/Acrylat-Copolymere.
Beispiele für Stockpunkterniedriger sind z.B.: Polymethacrylate, Alkylierte Naphthalinderivate.
Beispiele für Dispersants/Oetergents sind z.B.:
Polybutenylbernsteinsäure-imide, Polybutenylphosphonsäurederivate,
überbasische Magnesium-, Calcium- und Bariumsulfonate und -phenolate.
Beispiele für andere Verschleissschutz-Additive sind z.B. Schwefel und/oder Phosphor und/oder Halogen enthaltende Verbindungen,
wie geschwefelte vegetabilische OeIe, Zinkdialkyldithiophosphate, Tritolyl-phosphat,
chlorierte Paraffine, Alkyl- und Aryldisulfide.
Die folgenden Beispiele erläutern die Erfindung.

tert.-Dodecyl-Tetradecylammonium 2-oxo-2-thioi-4-(diisooctyloxy-
thiophosphoryl-thiomethyl-l,3,2-dioxapho3pholan
Eine Lösung von 70,92 g (0,20 Mol) Dithiophosphorsäure-0,0-di-2-äthylhexylester
in 100 ml Toluol wurde unter Rühren im Verlauf von 1/2 h mit 14,82 g (0,20 Mol) frisch destilliertem 2,3-Epoxypropanol
versetzt und anschliessend 1/2 h bei 65 - 7O0C gerührt.
Das erhaltene Additionsprodukt wurde ohne Zwischenisolierung mit 27,46 g (O42O Mol) Phosphortrichlorid unter Chlorwasserstoff
zum Phosphorigsäurediester-chlorid cyclisiert und weiter mit 3.6 g
(0.2 Mol) Wasser in 6.4 ml Dioxan zum entsprechenden 2-Oxo-(2H)-1,3,2-diocaphospholan
umgesetzt.
Die Toluollösung des erhaltenen Produktes wurde anschliessend unter Rühren mit 4,41 g (0,20 Mol) Schwefel und 40,3 g (0,20 Mol)
eines primären tert.-Dodecyl-/Tetradecylamin-Gemisches (Neutraläquivalent 201,5) versetzt und 2 h bei 500C gerührt. Nach dem Abkühlen
wurde mit Wasser und 5%iger Natriumsulfatlösung gewaschen, mit Natriumsulfat getrocknet und das Lösungsmittel im Vakuum abdestilliert.

erhaltene cyclische Phosphorigsäurediesterchlorid wurde im Verlauf von einer Stunde bei einer Temperatur unter 100C
mit einer Mischung aus 40.9 g Thioglykolsäure-isooctylester und 21.2 g
(0.21 Mol) Triäthylainin in Toluol versetzt und eine Stunde bei Raumtemperatur
und anschliessend während einer Stunde bei 45-5O°C gerührt.

Das ausgefallene Triäthylamin-hydrochlarid wurde abfiltriert
und aus dem Filtrat das Lösungsmittel unter Vacuum abdestilliert. Der verbleibende Rückstand wurde mit einem Filterhilfsmittel versetzt
und filtriert.

Beispiel 37
Zur Prüfung auf Lasttragevermögen und Verschleissschutz-Eigenschaften
wurden die nachstehend aufgeführten Verbindungen in ein nichtlegiertes mineralisches Schmieröl eingearbeitet und im VKA-Gerät (Shell-Vierkugel-Apparat)
nach DIN 51350 (= IP 239/69) untersucht. Vergleichsweise .wurde auch das nichtlegierte mineralische Schmieröl ohne
Zusatz geprüft.

Claims (12)
- Patentansprücheworin R. und R„ unabhängig voneinander C.-C.., Alkyl, Cr-C12 Cycloalkyl, gegebenenfalls mit einer oder zwei C1-C12 Alkylgruppen substituiertes Phenyl oder C-C9 Aralkyl sind, oder C9-C Alkoxyalkyl oder C3-C2 Alkoxycarbonylalkyl bedeuten, oder IL und R2 zusammen einen zweiwertig-: Rest der Formel II bilden(ID,worin R-, R,, R. und R, unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff, C1-C, Alkyl, Cyclohexyl oder Phenyl sind, und R7 und R unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff, C1-C, Alkyl, Cyclohexyl, Phenyl, Nitro, Cyano, C7-C Alkoxycarbonyl, C2-C1Q Alkanoyl oder eine Gruppe der Formel (R-O)2-P(O)- bedeuten, wobei R C.-C - Alkyl ist oder R7 und R_ zusammen 2-Pentenylen oder 2-Butenylen sind, und _n 0 oder 1 ist, und einer der Reste X. oder X„ Sauerstoff, und falls R und R zusammen einen Rest der Formel II bedeuten, auch Schwefel bedeutet und der andere Sauerstoff oder Schwefel ist, und m 0 oder 1 ist, und ^Y Wasserstoff, Halogen, -OR1- oder -SR bedeutet, wobei R10 Wasserstoff,C-C10 Alkyl, CC-C1O Cycloalkyl, gegebenenfalls mit einer oder zwei 1 Io -> 12C-C Alkylgruppen und/oder einer C-C Alkoxycarbonylalkylgruppe ■substituiertes Phenyl oder C-C Aralkyl ist, oder C.-C Alkoxyalkyl oder C3-C Alkoxycarbonylalkyl bedeutet, oder Y ferner -N(R )R, -OH-NH3, -SH-NH3, OH-(R11)N(R12)R13 oder -SH-(R11)N(R12)R13, wobei R11, R12 und R3 unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff, C-C- Alkyl, C1-C Alkenyl oder C-C3 Alkoxyalkyl bedeuten, wobei mindestens einer der Reste R , R und R 1-30 C-Atome enthält.030062/0958

Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch 1 der Formel I, worin R1 und R„ unabhängig voneinander C3-C13 Alkyl, Cg-C1 Cycloalkyl, gegebenenfalls mit einer oder zwei C1-C, Alkylgruppen substituiertes Phenyl oder C7-C„ Aralkyl sind, oder C3-C6 Alkoxyalkyl oder C,-C.Q Alkoxycarbonylalkyl bedeuten oder R und R„ zusammen einen Rest der Formel II bilden, worin R_, R,, R;. und R, unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder C1-C, Alkyl sind und R7 und R„ unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff, C1-C, Alkyl-, Cyclohexyl, Phenyl, Nitro, C0-Cn Alkoxycarbonyl oder C0-C0 Alkanoyl bedeutet oder R7 und R„ zusammen 2-Butenylen oder 2-Pentenylen sind, und η, m, X , X , Y, R11, R19 und R . die im Anspruch 1 angegebene Bedeutung haben, wobei R Wasserstoff, C -C ., Alkyl, C,-C. Cycloalkyl, gegebenenfalls mit einer oder zwei C-C- Alkylgruppen substituiertes
C,-C10 Alkoxycarbonalkyl bedeutet.C-C- Alkylgruppen substituiertes Phenyl oder Benzyl ist, oder - 3. Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch 1 der Formel I, worin R und R„ unabhängig voneinander C -C3 Alkyl, Cyclohexyl oder gegebenenfalls mit einer oder zwei Alkylgruppen substituiertes Phenyl oder Benzyl sind, oder R1 und R„ zusammen einen Rest der Formel II worin R„, R,, R1. und Rfi unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder Methyl bedeuten und R7 und R- unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff, C-C, Alkyl, Nitro, C0-C Alkoxycarbonyl oder C0-C0 Alkanoyl sind oder R und R zusammen 2-Pentenylen oder 2-Butenylen sind, und η 1 ist, und X1 Schwefel und X„ Sauerstoff ist und m 1 ist und Y die im Anspruch 1 angegebene " Bedeutung hat, wobei R Wasserstoff, C,-C _ Alkyl, Cyclohexyl, gegebenenfalls mit einer oder zwei C -CQ Alkylgruppen substituiertes Phenyl oder Benzyl ist, oder C,-C. Alkoxycarbonylalkyl bedeutet, und Rll' R12 un(* R13 una^il^nS^S voneinander Wasserstoff, C -C„g Alkyl oder C-C2- Alkoxyalkyl bedeuten, wobei mindestens einer der Reste R115 R-,oder R 13-26 C-Atome besitzt.
- 4. Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch 1 der Formel I, worin R und R0 zusammen einen Rest der Formel II bilden, worin η 1 ist und die übrigen Symbole die im Anspruch 1 angegebene Bedeutung haben.030062/0958

Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch 1 der Formel I, worin R1 und R C1~C18 ^ky1» C5~Ci2 Cycloalkyl, gegebenenfalls mit einer oder zwei C1~C12 ^ky^-g^PPe11 substituiertes Phenyl oder C-C Aralkyl sind, oder C3-C10 Alkoxyalkyl oder C3-C20 Alkoxycarbonylalkyl bedeuten, und die übrigen Symbole die im Anspruch 1 angegebene Bedeutung haben.
- 6. Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch 1 der Formel I, worin einer der Reste X^ und X^ Sauerstoff und der andere Sauerstoff oder Schwefel bedeutet, und die übrigen Symbole die im Anspruch 1 angegebene Bedeutung haben.
- 7. Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch 1 der Formel I, worin X Schwefel, X- Sauerstoff und m 1 ist, und die übrigen Symbole die im Anspruch angegebene Bedeutung haben.
- 8. Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch 1 der Formel I, worin Y -SS_.oder -SH^(R11)N(R12)R13 bedeutet wobei R1Q, R11, R12, R13 und die übrigen Symbole der Formel die im Anspruch 1 angegebene Bedeutung haben.
- 9. Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch 1, nämlich das Di-tridecyl-ammonium-2,2-thio-ol-4-(diisooctyloxy-thio-phosphoryl-thiomethyl)-1,3,2-dioxa- phospholan, das Tridecylammonium-2,2-thio-ol-4-(diisopropyloxy-thiophosphoryl-thiomethyl)-l,3,2-dioxaphospholan, das 2-Isooctyloxycarbonylmethylthio-Wdiisooctyloxy-thiophosphoryl-thiomethyO-ljS^-dioxaphospholin, das 2-isobutyloxy-2-thio-4-(diisotridecyloxy-thiophosphorylthiomethyl)-l,3,2-dioxaphospholan, und das 2-Diäthylamino-2-thio-4-(diisotridecyloxy-thiophosphoryl-thiomethyl)-l,3,2-dioxaphospholan.
- 10. Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch 1 der Formel I, worin X1 Schwefel ist.
- 11. StoffZusammensetzungen bestehend aus einem mineralischen und/ oder synthetischen Schmieröl und einer Verbindung der Formel I gemäss Anspruch 1.0300 82/0958
- 12. Verwendung der Verbindungen der Formel I gemäss Anspruch 1 als Schmiermitteladditive.030062/0958
