So ist beispielsweise eine Ausführungsform denkbar, bei der die Signalgebereinrichtung über ein kleines, Display verfügt, auf dem das anzuzeigende Wort für den Fahrer sichtbar angezeigt wird. In Abhängigkeit des von ihm ausgewählten Wortes auf der Signalgebereinrichtung, kann die Wort-Wecheleinrichtung sich um eine horizontale Achse drehen und nach hinten für den nachfließenden Verkehr ein sichtbares Wort anzeigen.
