Abstract

A screen mounted on a part of a vehicle is used to express a gratitude in writing or in similar form pictorially or symbolically. The screen is fed off an external battery supply. By the depression of a switch an illuminator unit will display an acknowledgement signal expressing the gratitude. The switch is suitably positioned on the steering column of the vehicle. The screen may be mounted to the rear of the vehicle, for example in the rear window, or at bumper level.

Description

Autoflash Technical Field This invention relates to Autoflash.
Background It is the habit of motorists to express a gratitude when a driver is allowed to enter the major road by the kindness of another. This is currently expressed manually by the use of hands which in a way distracts the driver offering the compliment.
Tn summer, motorists often use their hands through the window. If the window is not electrically operated, this may be a struggle. In winter and at nights an arm may be raised in the car for this purpose. (See exhibits 1 - 3). This is not usually possible with vans, buses, lorries and other heavy vehicles. (See exhibits 4 - 6). As a result, most of these motorists use their hazard lights Essential Technical Features Autoflash is a small screen of about 8cm x 30cm (exact size depending on the particular type of vehicle) placed at the rear or/and any convenient part of the vehicle, which will flash in bright red, the gratitude like "Thank You"- Figure 1 or "Very Kind Of You"- Figure 2 or something similar, when the situation arises. The use of a spring back switch around the steering column will eliminate the strain and express the feeling of satisfaction either way, without any disruption, no matter the nature and size of the vehicle.
Claims Courtesy is part of good motoring. Majority of British motorists have got this sense of appreciation. Autoflash will make it easy to express this appreciation.
Abstract No matter the type of vehicle, Autoflash makes it easy to say "Thank You" to the motorist who offers a service at the time when you cannot shake the hand to say "Very Kind Of You".
