Einrichtung zur Inertisierung an DruckmaschinenDevice for inerting printing machines

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zur Inertisierung an Druckmaschinen, insbesondere für Bogendruckmaschinen zur Trocknung und/ oder Härtung von Farben und/ oder Lacken.
Bekannt ist nach der DE-OS 40 10 191 eine Strahlereinrichtung zur Trocknung und/ oder Härtung von Farben und/ oder Lacken in Druckmaschinen mit einem UV- bzw. VUV-StrahJer, die die Trocknungs- bzw. Härtungszeiten für die Färb- und/ oder Lackschichten minimiert.
Als Strahler kommen Hochleistungsstrahler, vorzugsweise Excimerstrahler mit einem gasgefüllten Entladungsraum zur Anwendung. Dabei besteht mindestens eine der Wände des Strahlers, die parallel zur Ebene des zu behandelndem Produktes liegt, aus dielektrischem Material. Dabei ist dieses Material für die im Entladungsraum erzeugte UV-Strahlung durchlässig. Nachteilig an dieser Lösung ist die Einschränkung der Anwendung auf UV-Trocknung und Flachstrahler. Eine ausreichende Trocknung bei der Anwendung eines Excimerstrahlers ist mit der beschriebenen Lösung nicht möglich. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht deshalb in der Schaffung einer Einrichtung zur Trocknung und/ oder Härtung von Farben und/ oder Lacken, die die Anwendung von ExcimerstrahJern ermöglicht und eine ausreichende Trocknung innerhalb von Druckmaschinen bewirkt. Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe durch den kennzeichnenden Teil des Anspruches 1. Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen werden in den Ansprüchen 2 bis 4 beschrieben.

According to DE-OS 40 10 191, a radiation device for drying and/or curing inks and/or varnishes in printing machines with a UV or VUV radiation device is known, which minimizes the drying or curing times for the ink and/or varnish layers.
High-performance radiators, preferably excimer radiators with a gas-filled discharge chamber, are used as radiators. At least one of the walls of the radiator, which is parallel to the plane of the product to be treated, is made of dielectric material. This material is permeable to the UV radiation generated in the discharge chamber. The disadvantage of this solution is that it is limited to UV drying and flat radiators. Adequate drying when using an excimer radiator is not possible with the solution described. The object of the invention is therefore to create a device for drying and/or hardening paints and/or varnishes, which enables the use of excimer radiators and brings about adequate drying within printing machines. This object is achieved by the characterizing part of claim 1. Advantageous further developments are described in claims 2 to 4.

Inertisierungseinrichtung für Strahlereinrichtungen zur Trocknung und/ oder Härtung von Farben und/oder Lacken innerhalb von Druckmaschinen, insbesondere für Bogendruckmaschinen mit Excimerstrahlern und innerhalb der Innertisierungskammer angeordneten Blasdüsen sowie bei der die Blasdüsen über die Breite der Bedruckstoffbahn bereichsweise drossel- und/ oder abstellbar ausgebildet sind und den Blasdüsen und/ oder Excimerstrahlern eine die Vorder- und Hinterkante des Bedruckstoffes erfassende sowie eine die Blasdüsen und/ oder Excimerstrahler steuernde Steuereinrichtung der Einrichtung vorgeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Inertisierungsraum (2) durch Kammerwände (9) in mindestens drei Kammerbereiche aufgeteilt ist und zur Verhinderung des Lufteintrittes in den Inertisierungsraum (2) am Ein- und Auslaufspalt den Abstand zur Zylinderoberfläche einstellbare, an den Greiferstellen des Zylinders ausgeklinkte, Dichtleisten (7) angeordnet sind.1.
