Schrumpftemperatureigenschaften in flächiger Verteilung vorhanden sind, daß eine Teilmenge der Polfäden mehr geschrumpft und eine zweite Teilmenge der Polfäden nicht oder weniger geschrumpft ist als die erste Teilmenge. Die erste Teilmenge der Polfäden beträgt etwa 60 % der Gesamtmenge und vermittelt dadurch eine gekräuselte und härtere Struktur des Reinigungstuches, um eine erhöhte Schabwirkung zu erreichen. Das die Trägerbahn bildende Flächengebilde und das die Polfaserschiingen bildende Faservlies können aus unterschiedlichem oder gleichem Material bestehen. Vorteilhaft für die Saugfähigkeit des Reinigungstuches ist der Einsatz von Naturfasern für die Polschicht, während für die Trägerbahn Material zur Erhöhung der Festigkeit eingesetzt werden kann. Da die Polfaserschiingen mit beiden Enden in dem Warengrund verankert oder angebunden sind, sind lose Faserenden nicht vorhanden. Um dies zu erreichen und damit einen flauschigen Effekt für die Erhöhung des Wisch- bzw. Anstelle des Faservlieses können die Polschlingen oder Polnoppen auch aus Fäden bestehen, wobei die gebildeten Fadenschlingen mittels Näh- oder Bindefäden in der gesondert gebildeten Trägerbahn 1 angebunden werden. An Stelle eines Gewebes kann beispielsweise auch ein gewirktes oder gestricktes Flächengebilde, ein Vliesstoff, eine Fadenlage oder eine Folie als Trägerbahn 1 eingesetzt werden. Die geschlossenen Polfaserschiingen, Polfasernoppen oder Polfadenschiingen 2 können in bestimmten wählbaren Abständen zueinander angeordnet sein. Des weiteren können die Polfaserschiingen, Polfasernoppen oder Polfadenschiingen 2 in Längs- oder Querrichtung unterschiedliche Polhöhen hl bzw. h2 aufweisen (Figur 2).
