Abstract

The fire alarm socket has an electrical contact device and a mechanical locking device cooperating with a removable insert having a circuit board (LP) for the detector circuit and a detector cap (MK), for mechanically and electrically securing the insert to the socket. The socket is provided by a holder (MH) secured to the ceiling (D) via a single central fixing (BV), the contact device provided by several contact springs (KF), supported by a contact holder block (KB), acting as pressure springs (DF) at one end and spring clamps (FKK) at the other end. The detector cap is secured to the holder by a snap fitting (SV), with the pressure springs simultaneously brought into contact with corresponding contact surfaces of the circuit board.
