Fig. 1 zeigt die Seitenansicht des technischen Prinzipaufbaus der Haltevorrichtung im Schnitt. Die Mitte des Klemmelementes (K) liegt in einer Höhe von 120 cm, vom Boden aus gemessen. Die Rückhaltebarriere (B) befindet sich in Bodenhöhe in einem definierten Abstand (A) vom Zentrum des Klemmelementes (K) aus gemessen. Die Rückhaltebarriere (B) verhindert das Zurückrollen des Hinterrades (H). Die Position der Rückhaltebarriere ist so gewählt, daß das größtmögliche handelsübliche Fahrrad in aufrechter Stellung nicht über seine Längsachse nach hinten überschlagen kann.
